As a new resident of Chicago, AMLI is a great place to live. Walking distance of downtown and a lot of great food and shopping options as well. The leasing staff is very professional and great with communication. Especially Amanda, she was a great point of contact with making sure I was fully accommodated during my move-in and made sure that I was informed through out the whole process!

Love this building. Not sure why people are giving it negative reviews. Daniel, Michael and the rest of the front door staff are rock stars. And the maintenance staff is top notch.

Rented here on the fly to go see our son and attend a football game, we were a little skeptical at first but it was absolutely perfect. Great location near downtown but yet not to close. Soldier field and DT area was quickly accessible and the access to Divvy Rental bikes/scooters was a huge bonus. Highly recommend.

My husband and I have been living here for almost 2.5 years now and absolutely love it. It’s safe, quiet, clean, and front desk staff is super friendly (Leslie is a QUEEN!). Another big highlight is the maintenance crew. They are so respectful and quick to respond to even the smallest requests. We will be sad to be leaving Chicago but would definitely renew our lease again and again. And the views?? Worth every penny.

My son stayed at the Amli 900s over the summer. He had a great experience thanks to Lexi. She was patient, personable and understanding. She was also attentive. The apartment was updated and the views were inspiring. I would recommend this building to anyone looking in the South Loop area in Chicago.

Lived here a year and recently moved out. My unit was newly renovated and really nice. Maintenance was always fast and professional. Some of the front desk people are also extremely nice. Having a dry cleaner in the building was also great because of the convience. Gym was also clean and big enough for me.
It can take a while to wait for elevators during busy times, espeically when one or more are broken. Management kept accusing us of smoking even though none of us do because a different unit could smell smoke from a vent. I understand why they have to reach out to us but it was annoying because none of us smoked at all.
I lived in Roosevelt Collection Lofts immediately prior and Amli 900 definitely was lacking in community events (e.g. free donuts, free tacos, etc) compared to RCL.
However, overall it was a good living experience!

I liked it upon move-in, but there were things in the lease agreement that weren’t discussed or lied about. I wasn’t given the chance to go over important parts of the lease agreement ,from prohibition of the possession of tobacco products, giving background checks on visitors, to even being told that even though Amli900 is smoke-free “what I do in my apartment is my business” when I asked about the smoking policy, but received a lease violation for simply having tobacco products visible in MY APARTMENT ( NOT SMOKING IT) during a maintenance check. I feel these things were purposefully not talked about or truthfully discussed , especially after asking about certain policies, in order to get me to sign.

Our apartment was great and that's about it. Building management was not great; their staff didn't give us our own packages even though they have been delivered. The elevators were constantly out of service and we had atleast 2 different apartments on our floor with their dogs barking and whining all day. We complained but to no avail. The rent they are charging is for upscale apartments in Chicago and Amli 900 is average at best. They raised the rent and we found a luxury apartment in same area for way way better amenities for the same price. If you are looking for luxury apartments and responsive management towards your complaints; look elsewhere.

There appears to be an area that has spray or a mist of water, but it is not working. It would be amazing if residents could get access to that misting system while on rooftop to cool off since there is no pool.

The building management's lack of commitment and accountability has made my experience regrettable since the day I leased this place. The two cleaning ladies, under Maria's supervision, exhibit rudeness and neglect in their duties. Washrooms are often left unclean with no paper towels or soap, and requesting them to rectify the situation is met with hostility. Front desk staff are equally discourteous, denying access without a fob and lacking basic etiquette. Their answer is always "NO" "NO" "NO"!! They cant clean the washrooms, area, coffee machines are often broken, out of creamer, and if you request them politely, they will burst on you, as if you are working for them!!! Only a terribly incompetent building management would appoint such stuffs.
The thin cleaning lady behaves as though doing any task is a favor, consistently refusing requests with an angry demeanor. Management's failure to address these issues despite repeated complaints reflects their disregard for tenant well-being. Noisy neighbors further exacerbate the challenges of living here, with no rules enforced for noise or quiet hours.
The malfunctioning coffee machine adds to the frustrations, met with yet another angry response when addressed. Is this the standard we are paying for? If management fails to replace the cleaning staff or address these issues promptly, I will escalate this matter on social media platforms, including X, FB, Consumer forums, Insta, Yelp, with accompanying photos to illustrate the building's state. I am done with my experience and impossible to continue. Deleting my reviews will not deter me—I will ensure they are reposted for public awareness (also taking a screenshot of the same, this is enough!). This is a final plea for action -- remove the two cleaning ladies immediately! Otherwise, we will take our grievances to a wider audience. Hope at least someone is accountable to take this into consideration and do the needful.
Dear Potential Renters,
Beware of misleading reviews. Many are solicited or incentivized, painting an inaccurate picture of the leasing experience. Once you're committed, expect a stark change in the management's attitude—they'll turn a blind eye to your concerns. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear, as dealing with this management is a nightmare. Just run!

I have lived here a year so far.
Spacious apartments, good rooftop views, friendly staff.
My problem is that the AC units are older and make a fair bit of noise. Maintenance has been helpful but up to a point.
Apartments are somewhat dated.
Gym amenities could be better
