I went in to purchase a plant the lady was rude. Not so much as like blatant but judging. It was almost as if she wanted me to greet her instead of her greeting me I had been in the store looking she was in the back she saw me walking towards her still she didn’t greet me she just stood there. So I said may I ask how much is a few of the plants. She’s still staring at me like she saw a ghost and then said “Well, Hello. I didn’t even know anyone was in here.” I asked for the price she grabbed another plant without looking at the one I was pointing to and said it’s $85. I explained it wasn’t the one I was pointing to she said they were the same price. I just left because if I want low budget service I could’ve got a Walmart plant. As I was walking out I heard a loud laugh coming from behind me idk if it was her but I have had it with the fake Black Lives Matter movement when racism is still alive or whatever it was idk I just didn’t feel welcome.

Amazing service and stunning arrangements. Cassandra was a breeze to work with. She responded quickly to my initial email and walked me through the process step by step. They took the inspiration images from the bride-to-be and created stunning arrangements for the bridal shower. Delivery was right on time. The flowers made a huge impact on the over decor of the event, and nearly every guest in attendance commented on gorgeous they were. Highly recommend!

I used Anthony Gowder Designs for my sister-in-law's bridal shower and the arrangements were absolutely beautiful! Cassandra was easy to work with and perfectly understood our vision. We are now using them for the rehearsal dinner as well! You will not regret working with AGD... they are amazing!

I have used Anthony Gowder Designs many times, and they always deliver above my expectations. Recently, they did my daughter's wedding, and every detail was perfect. You definitely will not be disappointed. Cassie is an exceptional wedding consultant.

This is the worst shop!!! The owner is very rude with a God complex. I've heard from multiple people he mistreats his employees and is VERY PIGGISH to the women employees while his wife allows it!!!!! DO NOT SUPPORT THIS SHOP! IT'S NOT WORTH IT! The flowers are over priced and the designs are all the same! Very Boring!!!!!!

Excellent people! Had a last minute order and delivery for my kid. When asked about color I casually mentioned her love for the band Blackpink. We get to hotel and the lovely bouquet was there waiting for us. And they put in a surprise Blackpink card! So thoughtful!

We worked with Cassandra for our June 2022 wedding, and I am so glad we did! She was so kind and easy to work with. She made the whole process so easy. She listened to all our requests, and helped fill in the gaps with amazing suggestions when we weren’t totally sure what we wanted. She really brought our vision to life, and our day was more beautiful than I could have imagined!

Brother needed last minute flowers for a prom send off and came here and I’m so blown away by everything! The arrangement he was given was just breathtaking! The pictures doesn’t do any justice! The customer service was amazing! Everyone was beyond courteous and helpful. Definitely gained a new customer today. I will definitely go out my way to come here and send others here as well. Spectacular!

We worked with Cassandra and her team at AGD for our daughter's wedding in late October and we couldn't be happier with this choice.! Our daughter & husband were beyond thrilled at how amazing everything turned out! We were equally, if not more, overwhelmed by how beautiful the rooms looked and the professionalism Cassandra portrayed throughout this whole process! Cassandra, was truly a joy to work with throughout this whole process and I would do it all again with her 100x over. There is certainly a lot to orchestrate when planning these events and she made it all come together so smoothly (at least that’s how it looked on our end). The compliments keep coming from our guests saying what a wonderful evening and what a beautiful venue! The flowers were stunning - AGD captured exactly what we were looking for along with the moodiness and glow of the room that provided the atmosphere for our guests! Again, we couldn’t be happier with our day, the flowers were stunning and month of coordination provided a day that went off without a hitch thanks to all the work/questions that Cassandra asked along the way. Cassandra's sense of humor and straight forward personality eased our stress and provided much needed calmness leading up to the big day!

I hadn’t planned to stop at AGD. I’m not familiar with the Wicker Park area and hadn’t seen the shop before, but on my way to another errand their incredible window displays caught my eye, and I had to pull a u-turn and park my car. The shop is connected to a residential building, and apparently their door has to remain locked. That being said, I wasn’t sure if they were open to the public for retail or if they were a “consultation by appointment only” type place, so I browsed the window for a second and turned back to my car. I could’ve unknowingly drove off and missed the chance to see the store, but a woman (Stephanie) inside saw me and cared enough to run to the door and tell me I was welcome to come in. That was my first impression that the people running this place are passionate about what they have to offer and genuinely care.If you’re a plant lover - this is your new favorite place. I love large, full-grown statement piece plants, and this shop does not disappoint in that department. A BEAUTIFUL selection of mid-sized and larger plants. Stephanie was always nearby offering to answer questions and help me find prices. I picked out this big, beautiful guy on the right side of this photo.Stephanie brought the plant I’d chosen to Anthony who was working in the back. He wrapped it up in paper and plastic to protect it on the way home. I’ve purchased MANY plants over the years, and no one has ever taken the time to wrap a plant for me. Anthony asked if I had any questions on plant care and told me that if I ever did I should call the store and he’d be happy to walk me through it. What?! Again, I’ve never had someone offer follow up care on a plant purchase. For an event design company, I’m sure a singular houseplant purchase is likely the smallest transaction they can do, but they made if feel special, and I’m grateful.This will be my first stop the next time I need a plant.
