I've experienced rude treatment here on a number of occasions. I'm African American and I can't help but to think that it's just racism. I've never experienced this at Rico Fresh up the street but I've experienced it a number of times at Armitage Produce.

Certain foods are readily available that are instrumental in Caribbean cuisine. They have my favorite coffee ,Bustello and at a good price. All the root vegetables are neatly arranged pana,yuca,malanga,yutia, and other tropical vegetables. Management is clearly on top of all aspects of cleaning and order. And you will find them personally involved with all aspects. They have parking and the place is not so large that you walk a mile.

The store was packed!
The aisles are narrow so be patient. All the shelves were stocked and plenty of floor support. Some nice sales in many different items.

Since they moved across the street, the prices have sky rocketed ! I think the customers are paying for their new store. I loved the little one across the street,even if I had to drive around the block a couple of times for parking. Won't be traveling from Southside to here again. It is better to stick with Armitage produce
