Terrible service. My Black friend came to make some adjustments to her account, and after waiting for an hour, they refused to assist her. We had to go to another AT&T store, and she was attended to immediately. They gave preference to some blonde women who came in after her. I’ve never seen worse service. I got upset, but instead of arguing, I preferred to find another option.

Salesman response to a question?....."look it up on line"

You can't exchange a faulty device purchased at the very same AT&T store without paying a restocking fee.
If you are sold a faulty device, you have to pay your own money to exchange it or wait for diagnostics with apple.
Not a seamless buying experience when a problem that is not your fault becomes your responsibility to fix.

Stopped in and was greeted by Edgar , told him I needed to Tobr my line. He told me to have the owner of the line call the service line to get a code. This was 326pm on saterday. I have the owner of the line call and get a code. I do that and wait. I was a walk in so I expected some sort of wait.
So I on the que I am next up. I wait. Then I look up again and someone else who was NOT ahead of me was listed as #1 and I got bumped to #2. So I wait. And I’m called up next. So then sit with Fabian. By this time it’s been an hour. So explain I want to transfer my line off a family plan. I show him the code the owner of the line sent me. He’s like “that’s if you want to switch carriers. So I call the owner of the line. We end up getting what we need. So I start the process. Get to the Credit question. I ask if it’s a hard pull or soft pull as I have my credit frozen. “
Fabian “we don’t comment on that as it depends on the carrier”. So proceed.
Then it gets to choose what plan. No questions around how I use my cell plan and what I need. And asking what the different plans were and benefits. This was like pulling teeth.
Other clients were asked where they work to see if they have a relationship discount. Not me. I had to ask.
Other client were told thank you as they left. I was ignored.
Also found it weird when I was checked in that they didn’t ask my last name. They just put A. Other customers had the letter X. After their last name. I’m thinking this was a team code for either “service or sales”.
When I checked in Edgar didn’t say there was going to be a wait , or offer an eta , or say how you could do this self service yourself. Or if this time dosent work. I can help schedule a meeting the next day.

I’ve had great experiences here in the past but the guy we dealt with today had a horrible attitude from the moment we walked in. We were there for maybe 5 minutes and it was enough to ruin our day. It’s your job to be nice…we had a very simple request and he talked to us in such a condescending tone and made us feel like we were an imposition. I sincerely hope the manager of this store reaches out to me to figure out who this customer service rep was because this dude needs some serious training.

"Terrible service! I set up a corporate line with three lines, and they offered me rates, but then charged me triple. The staff is rude, and when seeking solutions, they're uncooperative. Management knows about these issues but allows poor service. They keep charging excessive amounts, claiming it's part of the process. They're scammers! Canceling is impossible without paying a hefty fee. Worst experience ever

I went to the store to upgrade to the new iPhone and trade in an old iPhone. My experience overall was fine although I was not given much documentation besides a receipt for my trade-in. However, once I looked at my bill after the fact, I noticed two things. My insurance was altered and the bill was increased $5 for no reason. I was also signed up for ATT next and I never agreed to this. After doing some research online, it appears this is a common tactic by the sales associates to increase their commissions. This was further confirmed by the billing associate that I spoke to that in fact confirmed this is a common fraud at their company. It’s sad that a company like ATT does not have the controls in place to stop this. Similar tactics have gotten companies like Wells Fargo fined millions of dollars. I’ll never come back to an ATT store ever again.

Great success at no charge! Second time in a year the people at this store got me going again quickly. Anthony helped me here. I needed a new SIM card to fix my phone problem: he put it in and I was able to send and receive calls again. Thanks!
