Good. I don't remember any negative issues.

I'm stunned by how poorly this hospital treats patients. I saw Dr. Simms in his clinic, where I was misdiagnosed, given the wrong medication, then overcharged for the privilege. Nevertheless, I paid the hundreds of dollars owed, even though I had to go to Rush to get cured. Then, after paying the bill, I'm sent to collections by the billers, Wolcott, Wood & Taylor without any warning whatsoever. I went to Guest Services at the hospital for help, but was extremely mistreated by Maria Lopez, who is so bad at her job that she should work for a cellphone company where people expect horrible treatment from a customer service rep. Her supervisor, Shirl Pinotti, is not much better. If you want to be overcharged for incompetent medical treatment, then harassed by incompetent billers/guest service agents, this is the place for you. Otherwise, try Rush, Northwestern, U. of Chicago, or self-medication. All better options.

Beware the incompetencies of the billing department. I'm still dealing with issues going back to 2015!!! In one case I lost the opportunity to challenge the billing with the health insurer because of the massive inability of UI Health's billing department to get things right and get things done in a timely fashion. This has nothing to do with the professionals that provide the medical care such as the doctors and nurses but what good is that if you become totally stressed out by the aftermath of such care, namely the billing!

Well, had an appointment at 9:00am. Front desk ladies at Nutrition & Wellness Center was NOT friendly at all. I know it was early, but definitely not what I expected first thing in the morning. I was not seen by a Dr until an hour later. The CMA who took my vitals and the Dr I saw was very nice and pleasant though. There was a wait during checkout so it took longer for lab orders and future appointments. Lab was fine and the staff there were attentive. Paying parking garage is available, just make sure you have your ticket validated for discount price. I did not get out of the appointment until 11:30am. So even though made an early appointment, don't expect to get out early. Bring snack because you will be waiting for a while.

I waited two and half hours with my 8 month old baby to see her doctor for a total of 5 minutes of interaction with the doctor and resident. Why bother giving appointment times if the wait is this long. I asked the medical assistant if the wait would be much longer and his response was "yes you are next but the doctor takes a long time with the patients". Really because I didn't get that long interaction at all. I was really frustrated because keeping an 8 month old contained in one room for that long is not an easy task. Be more mindful of your patients UI health. Don't you have quality measures in place to avoid long wait times?

My neurologist is located in this building. The phlebotomy Center is also located here. It's very convenient to be able to go to the doctor's appointment and then to the phlebotomist if any orders are put in for blood work. The people that work here are very nice and take time out of their day to ensure that you're going in the right direction to see somebody or have some test done.

I went in for some blood work and the phlebotomist really hurt me. She must've been in a hurry cause she literally stabbed me with the needle. Then when she finished drawing my blood she ripped out the needle leaving me with a huge bruise at the site of injection. Also, she ripped the needle out so carelessly that it also scratched my arm from the site of the injection to about an inch down. Not coming back.

I was seen by "DR. MATTHEW MARCUS". There are two types of doctors: the ones that go into medical school with a true vocation of wanting to help people, and the ones that do it for a big paycheck. "Dr." Marcus lives in the second category. I've never seen a more condescending, arbitrary, disrespectful, and frankly straight up D-bag as this guy. He saw me for no more that 3 minutes, touch my leg as it was a piece of plastic, even though I was in horrible pain, and then told me absolutely nothing worth paying for. Every time I wanted to ask him something he would interrupt me thinking he already knew the answer, of course, he didn't. DO NOT SEE THIS GUYS. READ THE OTHER COMMENTS, I'M NOT THE ONLY PERSON THAT HAD TO DEAL WITH THIS GUY. I totally agree with Constance T., he was more concern about his hair gel than talking to me.

Went in to see orthopedist specialists, then to get the half cast off & one of the pin out of my hand. And the Dr. Frank was very gentle and took his time I was very nervous.

They did contact me to resolve this issue and we saw a Dr. Mejia who was great! I appreciated their effort.

I've been to the clinic here several times for minor issues, and my OBGYN is based in the women's clinic. No complaints here, sometimes the wait can be a little long, but it's a doctor's office and I expect it. All the doctors I have seen, particularly the OBGYN Dr. Sommers, are compassionate and capable.

This is the worst place with the worst staff I have ever seen. The office is dingy and dirty. I waited 4 months to get an appointment and when I did show up to my appointment the doctor was more than an hour late and than spent 10 mins with me. Oh and the nurse with the facial piercings was super rude and standoffish. Forgot trying to get ahold of anyone here for your results for labs and tests or trying to get a sooner doctors appointment you have to wait weeks and months. And last but not least they have no waiting list to try and get a sooner appointment you have to "periodically call in" bc who the heck has time for that, absolutely ridiculous. This place is horrible!

Called here to make an appointment. I wish I remembered the lady's name I spoke to originally. She told me someone would call me back on Monday (this was a Friday afternoon). I never got the call back. When I called to check on the status of my appointment, nothing was in the system for me, although it was previously indicated that she'd input everything she needed (she'd gotten my discharge and insurance info, along with my preferred appointment dates). Although slightly annoyed, I proceeded to give the same information again. I was then given an appointment for 4 weeks away. No biggie, even though my discharge papers clearly stated I should be scheduled for within 2 weeks. I got a call back from two nurses who each left separate voicemails telling me my appointment had been rescheduled for the following week. I'm not sure what the mishap was, but when I arrived everything was much more organized than my previous interactions with staff let on. I was running late due to an accident blocking traffic. I called ahead to inform them that I'd be late. They were very understanding and still got me in right away, even though I was now 20 minutes late. Everything is clean and the staff was friendly. For your convenience, there's $7 valet parking for patients. $15 for non-patients. You can also find paid street parking closer to the hospital, half a block away.
