The park provides free swimming lessons for children, with respectful instructors, and also offers adult classes for a small fee. It serves as a helpful hub for access to printing, scanning, and online applications, making it a valuable place for work and staying organized. The staff are known for being patient, friendly, and supportive, assisting people of all ages, including kids, adults, and seniors. The park also features rich African American history, providing an educational experience. However, some areas, like the main entrance and grass, could use better maintenance.
