The staff doesn't go out of their way to greet you, they're on their personal phone, they don't greet you with a hello, they act like they would rather be somewhere else instead of where they are, they don't say thank you.

When the manager is onsite the service is very different ! I went to purchase some door trim pins Saturday evening. After looking for them myself I asked both clerks for help. One said he would but started helping someone else instead. I asked the other associate EJ for his help and was told it wasn't his job to help me find what I was looking for and that if I don't see it they don't have it. I snapped at that point. I know the manager personally and he's not like his workers. Corporate if this location shuts down please make sure the manager is good. Fire the other ones and don't waste your money on people who lack intergrity and don't do the job they're paid to do. I'm sure the whole thing was caught on camera. Please go and watch your worker avoiding doing his job!!

Whenever I come in this location the male manager always add extra to my order without asking do I want anything else. Like I told the manager before you can’t ring up other items without the customers acknowledgment because you don’t know I person financial stands.

I call this store (one of two locally) and ask if I could buy and have a battery installed. They replied that they would not do it; as if I were asking for a free service.

Employee integrity in regards to battery testing is questionable. I dont think they are taking the necessary steps to charge and test bateries or to make sure the device they use is being used properly to confirm the battery is bad. Will not recomend bringing a dead battery here. I also have notice a few years ago a employee was confronted by a customer about a battery being bad. The customer complained that the battery was not charged because of failure to properly conecting it to charge before testing. Same employee is still here and it seems that they are not charging batteries beforw testing them. Sure they cpuld be bad because the tester says and it will not hold charge. But if you dont charge it before testing you wont be sure about it. 100% Not recomended

Hello Auto Zone,On Wednesday August 2, 2023, I took my 2002 Lexus ES 300 to two different AutoZone locations (88 E. 103rd and 87th) in Chicago to get my battery tested because I have to get my car jumped every single day.Although my battery is still under warranty, both locations refused to replace my battery stating that the machine shows that the battery is “good” at 68%.The staff at both stores (Javier, and Maurice G,) stated that I needed to replace my alternator.However, when they tried to test the alternator, they could not get a reading because the battery is too low. Even with knowing this, they still refused to replace my battery.Therefore, I had my car towed to a mechanic who just informed me that the battery has a dead cell and as a result, it will not hold a charge and, it needs to be replaced.I should not have to be subjected to all of this when the battery is under warranty.I would like someone to call me back in regards to this issue.Thank you.
