Went to this location yesterday for an online return. Penny was who helped me and she was accommodating from the moment I walked into the store to the moment I left and helped with a smile on her face. I highly recommend this store.

Stopped by today to buy a new pair of snowboard boots, and the associate could not have been more helpful. I was in and out quickly with exactly what I was looking for. The associate nailed the perfect fit. The boots were a great value as well.

Really impressed with the service at this store! I have been buying online from Backcountry for years but after such a great experience, I am going to do more shopping here. I think that at least three different people helped me find things or gave me product advice. In a world of online shopping, this reminds me of the value of the in-person shopping experience.

I love this jacket, it’s backcountry that I really have an issue with I contacted customer service 3x for my order because last Oct. 23 when I bought it the discount of 20% was not applying during checkout so I consulted. Now with the 3x I contacted customer service they promised me they will apply the discount which should be cause the jacket was bought during the SALE (expires Oct. 23 11:59pm). Bought before sale expires. Now I just checked my account and I was still charged the full amount. Customer service has been horrendous lately, my experiences has been literally terrible. I wait patiently to be connected, I wait for replies even if it takes a while. No help whatsoever is done, even if the customer representative would say “they did it”. I have been shopping from this website for years now and I would honestly say and observe the customer service went downhill. I can even show proof of purchase, the customer service representative see’s my order, yet no resolutions. I even requested for it to be escalated NO ESCALATION. They always try to rectify issues with my orders yet don’t deliver.

I worked with Clayton who helped me with a cycling tune-up on my Ridley road bike.Our interaction was friendly and professional. Clayton quoted me a date when he would have my bike finished, and he stuck to that date (scheduling appreciated).I got on my bike and it felt like butter. Clean frame, brake dust removed, new lube, and tires fully inflated.Thank you, Clayton, your service sets an awesome bar.

The bike shop was super helpful! I bought pedals at a different store, but they were understaffed and wouldn't help me get my old pedals off. I went to this bike shop and they helped right away, no wait, no charge, removed my pedals and put on the new ones. Great experience.

Picked up my new road bike at Backcountry this week. I had initially ordered it online but saw the frame was backordered, so I called the store and got great advice from Clayton, the service manager. He worked with the store manager, Chris, to get my order straightened away and the staff followed through on delivery. Clayton put it together, watched me ride, and dialed it in perfectly.

I’m giving three stars because the store selection is great and the retail associates are friendly and helpful. Although, I wouldn’t recommend the bike shop unless you have a pricy bike. Having a budget bike means you will be treated poorly.

Unfortunately one of those times when you feel compelled to leave a poor review. I’ve visited the shop on multiple occasions and can never seem to get a simple greeting or welcome, let alone have anyone ask if they could help me find anything. Maybe I don’t fit a specific sporty profile, but I’m always decked in gorp (Arcteryx, etc.) when I drop by and it’s always crickets. I should mention, it’s typically empty when I visit and staff will even walk directly past me without any acknowledgment. Today was the last straw as I was looking at Salomon shoes and I was ignored by two workers (same thing has happened a couple times before). Decided to leave even though they had what I was looking for; Why support that level of service? For what it’s worth I’m a person of color. Your guess is as good as mine. Went to Moosejaw down the street and it was night and day, couldn’t get them to stop being so nice and overly helpful.
