I love this studio. I’ve been a member for a couple months now and love it. The people are so welcoming and I feel I belong. I had done Power yoga before, but never at a place that valued the spirituality and mindfulness of yoga so much. It’s been a good change of pace. Highly recommend.

I genuinely can’t say enough good things about this studio! Everyone is kind, the teachers are excellent (I’ve especially loved Cara so far!) and it’s the most supportive and simultaneously challenging way I spend my time, every single class. I love it here and look forward to every class.

I love bare feet! They are the only studio in the west loop that I know of that caters to those who are not rolling in dough. I am so grateful to the people who own this studio. It is bc of them that I am able to practice yoga in a in-person capacity. Thank you so much for your service to the community.

Love the combination of strength, cardio, flexibility and meditation from Bare Feet Power Yoga classes. It's an intense workout, but it is customizable to you with their four levels.Super interesting combination of poses that keeps you in your toes the entire class.

Very unique style. Hot!!! The workout of your life. Be brace and embrace the heat, breath and flow.I've visited Ritual Hot Yoga every time I visit San Fran from Atlanta. It's amazing! Wish they'd open one on the East Coast.

Incredible place to practice yoga. The entire atmosphere is positive, welcoming, and inspiring, and I leave every class refreshed, energized, grounded. I've tried most of the instructors and they are all wonderful, each bringing a unique style and vibe to the practice. Also great for all experience levels, including people just starting out like I was a few months ago.

I LOVE this studio. Stopped in for my first class on Monday and i have been back every day since. Every instructor is and CREATIVE and clearly an expert in human anatomy (this is so important if you are new to yoga). You will sweat, you will stretch and you will get in the "zone" Do it. you won't regret making BFPY your studio.

Absolutely love this studio and community. Very grateful for the Saturday free classes as I've had some demands on my financial life that have made it hard to pay for extracurricular activities, so really the community classes are a gift I treasure. Thank you BFPY!

Great studio with the most thoughtful sequences in Chicago. Every teacher has their own style, so you will find someone who fits your practice. And the space itself is small and intimate, but leaves ample space to spread out. The reason for the two stars is the studio's recent mask policy (specifically their implementation). In May, the CDC issued guidance that masks aren't necessary for vaccinated people. Barefeet (like most other fitness studios in Chicago) has lifted the mask mandate per that guidance. All good, so far. But barefeet is the only studio in the city (as far as I know) that does NOT validate vaccine status. It just takes folks at their word. I'm vaccinated. But I chose to stay covered because I'm not naive about the fact that not everyone will get the vaccine (or tell the truth about that fact). The first day this policy went into effect, the teacher spent a good 5 mins talking about how great it is to be "free" from masks. Leaving aside how alienating that was, I mean, really? Free? We're you ever oppressed? This left me feeling pretty down. I reached out directly to barefeet over DM expressing my concerns and suggestions, and got no response. My fiancé also emailed them, and was basically told "good to know!" I was relieved to take class with Raj recently, who opted to keep his mask on (making me feel less alone in my choice). He also acknowledged India's current struggle with COVID, and plugged his fundraiser for relief efforts. The contrast and social awareness between him and the prior teacher could not be more stark. I do hope Robin opts to correct this policy. The cost of verification (or even clicking "yes" on a written attestation) is basically zero. But to not do so--out of some unfounded belief that yogis don't lie--is just plain ignorant.

My first time at Barefeet yoga was such a great experience. Having not been able to do yoga in person, it was such a delight to be in an in studio class. Everything felt very clean and safe but also welcoming. The teacher was kind and helpful and the class was a perfect pace with modifications offered if needed. I will definitely be going back.
