THEY TOOK GREAT CARE OF MY BOY. I took my Golden puppy over to Armor park and he got himself all muddy. Now I never thought I'd pay for a dog bath because that's something I can do myself but when I dried him off he had a bunch of little knots and after a couple weeks my sister said they were getting bad and I needed to take him somewhere. I always get coffee next door so I gave this place a try. I thought they were gonna have to chop him up but when I got him back he looked real neat and smelled fresh. They even brushed his teeth and I think it's the first time his breath didn't knock me out at night. Anyway, the people in there are great, I'll get there names the next time cause I'll be back for sure

Outstanding service from people who actually care for pets. I could tell that the groomer/owner treated my boy with the same care that I would, as he came back happy, handsome & stress-free. Unfortunately we're from out of town so I won't be able to become a regular, but if we're ever in Chicago again we will definitely make Shaggy's a first stop. Thank you!

I am not sure this business is still open. As of today it looks vacant and there is a for lease sign in the window with a real estate listing. Not on zillow or red fin yet but I bought coffee and breakfast next door at Stockyards.

Tried to get appointment for my chihuahua and was told no appointment for weeks then I had my daughter call and say she had a Labrador they said sure we have something this Sunday if you are a groomer for pets how do you deny a puppy because of her breed. The lady on phone was rude too.i will never give them my business

I showed for an appointment that was confirmed via 2 emails (the day prior and the day of my appointment) from the business. I arrived and no one was present and the location (1433 E Hyde Park Blvd., Chicago) was locked. I called their number; no answer. Shortly thereafter I received a call stating that this was a return call and the caller self identified as the owner of the business. The owner proceeded in a rude manner to tell me that I received a text and phone call from the business and that I did not respond; and therefore my appointment was canceled. I said I'll go someplace else and hung up. The owner then proceeded via a rude text exchange with me, her customer. This is unfortunate as I have a dog that is relatively new to our home and who is getting use to coming into contact with strangers; definitely a candidate for future grooming as well as doggy day care services. I will take my dog elsewhere. I cannot support any business who does not believe in friendly customer service or customer service at all. There was definitely a better way to handle this interaction by the owner but a decision was made to do otherwise.

Brought both of my dogs for a bath and nail trim. My little guy is 11 and isn't fond of getting his nails clipped. My bigger guy is a 65 pound sweetie but is also like a bull in a China shop. When I picked them up they looked beautiful, calm and comfortable in the surroundings. Staff is very professional, calm and experienced! Definitely will bring them back.

I go to bark n bubbles to get my dog's nail done. They are always friendly and fast. I love that you can see them through the window.

Beyond impressed. Staff was extremely kind and was able to make a miracle happen as my dogs training collar was getting stuck in her fur. Pup looks fantastic and was giving everyone kisses on her way out. If your dog is happy on her way out and its her FIRST TIME at the groomer... that says enough for me.
