Carrie Weston was knowledgeable, absolutely pro and a dream to work with as a first time buyer. Compared to other agents I dealt with she really understood the needs and preferences of an 'artist type' looking for a home. Plus, Carrie is just a great hang while you're out there shopping for shelter!

I would highly recommend Lee Diamond from Big Shoulders Realty. He helped my husband and I both buy and sell a home this past year, where he was incredibly responsive, informative, and supportive through navigating the current marketplace. He is incredibly knowledgeable about what to look out for when purchasing a home and has excellent connections that make the entire process from searching to buying/selling very smooth. 2023 Update: my wife and I recently worked with Lee again and my review remains the same. Lee helped us navigate buying a new place and also selling our old place. He was always very realistic, attentive, and provided us invaluable guidance during this interesting market. Lee and BSR have been awesome and we look forward to working with them again in the future!I worked with Lee and the process couldn't have gone smoother. Carrie Weston was an absolute dream to work with! When I needed to sell my condo she was so responsive and went above and beyond to make sure the whole process went smoothly. When things went wrong with a photographer (there's always something) she listened to my concerns and found a new person to work with so that our listing looked as good as possible. My partner and I did a quick search and found this real estate company less than a block away from our apartment. As clueless first time buyers with a limited budget, we had a lot of ridiculous questions and strange beliefs about real estate. Lee Diamond was incredibly patient and non-judgmental. He explained the whole process and provided guidance throughout the search. He weighed the pros and cons of each property while letting us decide what worked for our needs. At our budget, it took several months of venturing into some bizarre and mind-searing properties to find the perfect condo. In the end, we absolutely love the place we purchased. Lee was right—patience is so important! I cannot imagine what our lives would look like right now if we went with a different company.

We found Big Shoulders because their office was right across the street from us. They also happened to be the perfect choice of realtor.We worked with Lee in buying a condo in 2019. It was a particularly dry period for available property, and we had very specific requirements. Lee was happy to show us units, even if there was only one that came up each week. We dragged him to some horrible places and some good ones too. He was knowledgeable about the buying process and what to watch out for. He was just the right balance of steering us away from bad decisions while not being too prescriptive about what we should want.He urged patience in finding the right place, and after 4-5 months of looking we found the perfect condo that had everything we were looking for. He recommended other professionals who were knowledgeable and experienced to help with our process.

I can't continue to say how happy my partner and I are with this company! A year ago, we knew we wanted to be in a new home by Summer 2020 but we had no idea that the world would be in a pandemic (nobody did). The home buying process was therefore a lot different but Lee, from Big Shoulders Realty was there to guide us the entire time. He is incredibly knowledgeable, calm, and diligent. He talked us down from decisions when it was necessary and talked us into decisions when it was necessary as well. We our so excited about our new home and the memories that will come with it!
