Awesome job! Incredible customer service! Neville was able to make it out to my place the next ay with a hard to find breaker. Fixed all the inspection findings super fast and provided the invoices I needed to clear inspection contingency on the spot. Highly recommend using Blacklite Electric!

Neville was great. He was able to figure out an issue that a previous electrician could not in an older home with some funky wiring. Professional, knowledgable, and personable...nothing but good things to say. Will definitely be calling him for all of my future electrical needs.

I needed 2 outdoor fixtures installed and 4 outdoor recessed lights replaced (the recessed lights were very high - near the roof line). Neville provided a reasonable estimate, very promptly. (Another highly recommended electrician never even bothered to respond, after 2 chasing emails.). Neville showed up on-time and got the job done on-budget. I especially liked the great communication before he arrived. I knew what to have ready, which saved a lot of headaches. I highly recommend Neville and Blacklite.

Neville is truly a one-of-a-kind electrician. He's humble, transparent, responsive, and efficient with his work and approach. A combination of qualities that's so often hard to find. No job is too big or small. From addressing significant wiring issues in older homes, to replacing faulty outlets, he's the specialist to count on. Can't recommend him enough!!

Neville has done a few jobs for us over the years. He did work for my friend's mastering studio, and has always got the job done quickly, keeping the costs very reasonable. Work is always tip top, and will give excellent advice. Great guy, highly recommended.

Neville is wonderful! This is the second time I have used Neville's services. He came to replace my light switches with new ones I bought. I started it as a DIY project but these new switches were a little larger and were incredibly hard to squeeze in; also the existing wires were very short. Neville is not only extremely capable, but is friendly and open to suggestions on how I would like the setup, even though he clearly knows a ton more about this stuff than I do. He also handled a couple other items for me. The work took longer than anticipated. Neville rounded down the time and charged me less. I trust Neville in performing the job well and in as little time as possible to get the work done right!

To say we had a wonderful experience with Blacklite Electric would be an understatement. Neville is everything you could hope for in an electrician: talented, easy to work with, reasonably priced and very friendly. We had a difficult time getting quotes from other vendors, but Neville responded right away with a comprehensive text including his reasonable fee structure and details for scheduling, which was done easily via text. What separates Neville from other electricians is rather than simply addressing whatever single issue you're having, Neville takes more of a systems approach to your home. We called concerning a single fuse we thought was overloaded, and came to find out the whole house was wired to only about three or four separate fuses (we could already tell the house wasn't wired very well from when we'd replaced a few light switches). Neville essentially "re-plumbed" portions of our home, properly distributing the various loads on the fuses based on location and usage, while also upgrading a lot of wiring. None of this was an "upsell", on the contrary, most of it was work we'd already suspected needed to be done before his diagnosis. All the work that was done was discussed and explained up front, with estimations for how every many hours each would take. We haven't blown a fuse since anywhere in the house and take comfort in knowing our electrical system is Neville approved.

I tried installing a garage heater using an existing 240V outlet myself. It wasn't working so I called Neville at Blacklite. He discovered some serious issues in my wiring from my house to my garage. We had to dig up the conduit and find and replace bad wires. I needed the work done by the weekend, and he worked long days to get the job done. I also had him add some outlets and ethernet to my garage, which is really nice. It really felt like he cared about the quality of his work. Highly recommend and will use him again.

I reached out to Blacklite Electric after seeing their positive reviews on yelp. Neville was prompt with his response, came out when promised, and his work quality was phenomenal. Was one of the absolutely best contractor experiences I have ever had. Most important to me, his pricing was upfront and exactly as promised. For any electrical work in the future, Blacklite will be my first point of contact.

Neville was great to work with, and is an extremely friendly guy. As others have noted, all communication is via text. Initial texts were a little sporadic, but I believe he was actually at a job. (I can be a little impatient, and that's on me.) However, it was never more than a few hours between texts. And as his scheduled visit got closer, there were definitely more frequent texts. He arrived during his timeslot and got everything done in under an hour. I wanted an old hardwired light turned into an outlet instead. He had to cut through some drywall to make that happen, and was incredibly clean about that process, even to the point where he insisted that he use our vacuum to clean up after himself. The job took less than an hour, cost exactly what he had estimated, and I would definitely consider him again for any future electrical work around our condo.

Very professional and looking to do right by their consumers. Even though Blacklite Electric couldn't come to my home to help fix my issue, they were in constant communication to help me fix my problem over text messages. They requested pictures of my home and offered prompt advice. Guess who would I call when I have an electrical need next time?
