I recently needed assistance with a payment issue, and the branch manager Stas went above and beyond to help me. They were incredibly kind, professional, helpful, and patient throughout the entire process. Their support made a hard situation much easier to handle. I truly appreciate the outstanding service and would highly recommend this branch to anyone looking for excellent customer care.

My husband and I, opened 2 checking accounts about 6 or 7 months ago because we received a $250 bonus offer with direct deposits. We didn't received that bonus. After complaining and going to another branch. The one in Roger's park because it's close to our house. We were told that this branch, the Andersonville, didn't do our paperwork the right way. They said they will look at this matter and give us a call. We never received any phone calls, neither got our bonus. On top of that we were charged $25 monthly fee in the last few months...we lost like around $100...didn't paid that fee in the beginning. We asked for a simple checking account and suddenly one of the accounts got hit with this outrageous fee. Our second account had issues with the electronic banking. Also, I made a purchase in one store and they charged us a $3 fee saying that it was a withdraw ...Employees were friendly but the service of BMO is not the best. Bad imput, bad output!

To open a new free checking/chequeing account too like 15 minutes with your Canadian passport. Now you have an option to pay your Chase, etc credit cards as a bill payment without any monthly charges. Love the place, Mike was friendly and very professional!

I have had BMO for a few years now, and i had the worst experience with this branch. Its 2023 and Andersonville welcomes everyone regardless race, ethnic background, religion, color, and gender. This branch refused to take my friend's deposit because she didnt have a US identification even though she provided with her Colombian ID due she is on vacations in Chicago. When i spoke to James Arnold branch manager, i was informed that anyone deposits will be taken if they show a valid ID and the account-name info. This type of experience is the worst i have seen with a financial institution.

I caution you if you must bank here which I strongly advice you not to you should only use the atm. The clerk who is a young lady is great but the manager is terrible prideful and ignorant individual. I went here because I made a mistake with my direct deposit and he knew that the following week I came back and he very proudly and practily yelled that my bank account was going to be closed because of fraud shortly after I called the number on the back of my card and they told me the complete opposite and reopened the account . I will never bank BMO again.
