I came there for an interview back in October. For whatever the reason, the lady didn't like me from the jump, I felt. She kept asking me questions about who I hated at my job and things of that nature. I felt extremely uncomfortable. She asked me what the heck was this or that on my resume. She wanted me to have on my resume from the time I first started working, until now. That would've been five pages, at least. After I stated to her that everyone at my job pushes their weight, she kept asking me different variations of the question about who I didn't like. I just lied, so she'd stop asking me. When I went to a job agency and asked them about how she conducted herself, they said that the questions were highly inappropriate. She also tried to discourage me from the job, because I take public transportation. I commute two hours, already. This job would've been just an hour. Than, she tells me she comes from Naperville to the city, but they pay her enough to do that. She didn't think the pay was enough for my position that I was applying for. I just wrote this review, so that people can be leery of this place.

The VP, Mr Scott Burke has been a God send to me when my mom passed and I had problems with an employee telling me he wasn't going to accept any payments from me. An employee came to my house and came inside and told me they'd help me so I wouldn't loose my mom's house. And Mr Burke was and is a very helpful and patient man. Just a great bank to do business with. Also, the 87th. Street office has been extremely helpful. Thanks Bridgeview Bank for always going above and beyond.

This is the grumpiest collection of bank tellers I have ever seen. Every transaction is a challenge - do you want my business? The only reason for 2 stars instead of 1 is because the building is a cool, old bank.

I LOVE THIS BANK!!! I went to Bridgeview Bank in Uptown because a friend told me about a savings program called Pennywise where I could get 5% interest! I didn't believe it at first, but I had some cash on the side that I wanted to start saving, so I decided to check it out. The experience was so pleasant. Free parking, and a smiling, and extremely knowledgeable new account banker named Cynthia made my day. As soon as I entered the bank, I was greeted by a receptionist who immediately directed me to Cynthia. Cynthia was very patient in explaining the different types of savings plans, as well as the Pennywise plan. I left feeling like I was in Mayberry all over again. The employees make a point of being friendly, and people concerned. As I left the bank, it was snowing, and they reminded me to drive safe. Bridgeview Bank, you are the BEST! I'm so happy you are now my community bank.
