My cat is 17 years old and he has become very weak and deteriorated rapidly in the past 3 days so my daughter and husband took him to your clinicApparently when the vet had entered he had asked them are you here to put him down? And they had told him no. He had asked them why are you here? And they told him that we are wondering whether there is an acute thing such as infection or dehydration going on that can get better by treatmentHe had asked what else do you expect? The cat is oldThis really upset my daughter who has grown up with this catWe KNOW THAT HE IS OLDWE KNOW THAT HE IS PROBABLY DYINGBUT WE EXPECT COMPASSION FROM A VETas a vet you must know that these are notJust animal but a dear member of the familyWe have two other kittens whom we just adopted and WE WILL NOT BRING THEM TO YOUR CLINIS

If I could give 100 stars, I would. My husband and I chose Burnham Park Animal Hospital to care for our puppy when we were living in the South Loop. A few months ago we moved out to Irving Park, and we both came to the quick consensus that BPAH would remain our vet despite the distance. Everyone there shows our dog and us so much compassion and care. We’ve had experiences with three of their vets— Dr. Phillips, Dr. Antonicic, and Dr. Schell. They have all been beyond amazing, informative, and so genuinely caring. Their vet techs/front desk staff are just as caring and kind. Their emergency services (and prices!) FAR surpass the services at MedVet, which we have gone to once. Our dog is never scared to go to the vet/leave the room without us and happily greets every staff member there, which tells me they’re just as amazing behind the scenes as they are when we are present in the room. I truly can’t speak highly enough of Burnham Park Vet. We feel blessed to have them care for our sweet boy.

Brought our new puppy in to establish care and are so happy with our choice. Dr. Jimenez is wonderful with our little fur baby and takes the time to answer any questions we have. She gave great advice for helping our little one have a long happy life! We'll be using Burnham Park for all of her healthcare needs. Making appointments are easy and the staff have been very friendly.

The treatment that we received here amazed me. Was kind, professional, and with knowledge. The Dr. The technician and the receptionist were so human and understanding about our lack of income in that moment. They showed us that the care of our pet was more important than any situation. At the end we were able to pay the service and we walked out saying that from now on this is our place for every pet we will have. The prices are affordable and competitive. I recommend this place to everyone who needs to take their pet in need with the eyes close. Amazing vet clinic. Thank you all. My chihuahua Dolly is getting better thanks of you guys. God Bless you a lot.

Ricky is our sweet border collie, has officially found his primary care doctor! Thank you Dr. Jimenez and all the staff!

I love taking my dog, Toledo, to Burnham. We live in the northern suburbs but will make the trip into the city just to see one of the doctors. The support staff is amazing. Whenever I email them, they respond very quickly. I can often get a same day appt if there is an emergency. They also forward my questions to the doctors and I usually get a response within a short time frame. There was some lag time a few weeks ago, but that’s ok. We received the answer we needed from our dog’s pet boarder. We usually see Dr. Jimenez but met with Dr. Olson last night. Both are very nice and caring. The prices are typical, not too expensive. It’s a great animal hospital.

Dr. Olson is very caring and informative. We took our cats here for the first time since moving here in 2021 and it’s very convenient for us. The staff is friendly and it’s easy to get appointments. Pricing doesn’t seem too out of line with what we experienced before we moved here and honestly, we’re willing to pay a little extra just for the convenience as we live in the neighborhood. Excellent service, glad to make them our go-to vet!

Well I tried to go here didn't work out to well. Took my rescue in(had been going here already have 2 ) he was misdiagnosed with an upper repository infection. Had to take him to the Emergency Vet(wasn't getting better) they did a through exam and it was found he had an enlarged heart. He has since passed away. Some staff at Burnham Park were very rude to me especially the so called Manager. I have moved on from this place. Pricing is awful also. They dont like questions. Seems like they get insulted. My pets records have stuff in there I didn't even say . No stars from me. They also don't tell the truth. Posted my concerns on a website and many had the same issues regarding staff, pricing and honesty. . They resort to more untruths to make like u are there one wrong or not telling there truth sad sad sad. Never been treated so poorly. For example I finished seeing the vet had a sick dog stood there for a long time waiting for one of the two workers to at least acknowledge me . They never did. I left went to my car called and paid on the phone after talking to a manger who just hollered at me. Of course they put on my record that I didn't pay, ha not true, yet I was never acknowledged

I just moved here and am so happy I found Burnham Park Animal Hospital. I have a 13 year old slow-moving loves-everything dog and a nervous, leash-reactive dog. The entire staff is kind, helpful, and my dogs were as happy to be there.

She’s very caring, and always addresses our concerns on point. The facility just recently completed renovated, and is very nice. Hope they will continue providing the great service as usual.

We've been going to Burnham Park Hospital for 5 years now with our shy shih-tzu/poodle mix, and I figured it's about time to leave a review. Every vet we've seen has been great; our appointments never feel rushed, we're seen in a timely manner, and all concerns are listened to and answered. The online booking system is easy to use, and I've called many times to make appointments and always talked to a friendly and knowledgeable person. I've called before when we're out of state and needed advice on if my dog's illness was serious, and they have always provided recommendations and never made me feel like too anxious of a dog owner. Truly, the first time I called we had just adopted our 7 month puppy, and he had gotten a tick on his first day in chicago and I was terrified I wouldn't remove it right. He wasn't a patient yet, but they fit us right in and got him set up, and eased my worry.I also really appreciate Burnham's appointment availability, it's always been easy to get in when he's ill, even if it's not urgent. We've seen Dr. Jimenez and Dr. Olsen and really liked both of them. They are fantastic with our shy pup.I highly recommend Burnham and believe they truly love and care for all the pets that come in!

My tiny dog had dental work and a mass removed from her belly. She was given excellent care and, while she came home in a bit of pain, in less than 24 hours she's back to her usual feisty self. Dr Jimenez did a great of caring for her and keeping me looped in on how she was faring.

I brought my Belgian Malinois in for his annual shots. I decided to get him a complete tune-up so he received shots, dental check-up, and nails clipped. Dr. Ohlsen took great care of him. He is starting to get a little arthritis now so she told me what to do. He needs to lose about 12 pounds! Those damned eyes of his get to me everytime and I give him treats. Nope. That stops today. He behaved very well. All the staff is very nice and friendly. He cost me $300 today. My little buddy is worth it though. Great place!SB

We had a remarkable experience at Burnham Park Animal Hospital. Dr. Jimenez was amazing and so grateful that she let my son, Jackson hear our dog Shelby’s heart with her stethoscope. The little extra touch goes a long way! Shelby walked off with a clean bill of health and grateful for a positive experience.
