I love coming here on weekend mornings. It's so quiet and the food and coffee is excellent. Friendly service too. There is a nice upstairs part of the cafe for additional space and even conference rooms! Bathrooms are always very clean. Highly recommended and half off all coffee beverages with your Capital One card! Wheelchair accessibility: There is an elevator inside.

I went there with some friends because they said it was a relaxing place to go.This is a cafe run by a financial company called Capital One.It's very spacious inside, and there are seats on the second floor.I saw many people studying or working with their computers open. There was also a meeting room on the second floor, where some groups were having meetings. This place is spacious, clean, and comfortable, but there are no meals. Just muffins and drinks. I ordered a bagel and a small coffee. This cost me a little over $8.Also, the card payment screen appeared at the register, so I paid by card, but how much should I tip? It came out.The minimum amount is $1.Isn't a $1 tip a lot for something that costs $8? I also wondered if it would be a good idea to take a tip when the service is just served at the counter.Everyone around me was confused by this,However, it seems like there are many people who always pay, thinking it would be bad if they didn't.I also paid $1. Because I don't understand the current situation in the US.When I came to America, I heard many stories from people around me about tips and surcharges at restaurants. I heard that tipping was created for people in the hospitality industry who are paid low wages. However, there were many opinions such as whether it is necessary to pay high tips because the salaries of people in the hospitality industry are good these days. This is off-topic, but this cafe only serves drinks. It's great if you want to study slowly. If you have a Capital One card, drinks are half price. Then it's a great deal.

Capital One Café is an excellent place for people seeking a productive workspace in downtown Chicago. The café's design, clean restrooms, comfortable seating, and free high-speed Wi-Fi make it a perfect spot for work or study. It is quiet enough to concentrate, yet lively enough to inspire creativity. You can find power outlets to charge your devices and enjoy your coffee. It is a life saver! I highly recommend this place!

Great location and vibes... Ralphael was stellar in fixing a slight problem I came in for. Left with some good coffee.

The capital one cafe is great for anyone who’s looking for a place to be productive. There’s two floors, plenty of seating, and even a meeting room that you can reserve for free. The drinks are okay, but overall hit or miss depending on what you order. The menu is limited, but what they lack in options they make up for in their environment and customer service. Not to mention, that you get a hefty discount on your drinks if you use a capital one card. I would recommend going here if you want a new spot to get some work done.

I had a very frightening experience today at this particular capital one cafe. A man came so close to my face & punched his hand right next to me and then started to walk towards me again, security did nothing! They didn’t say anything while it was happening, what is the point of security if they are not kicking people out that are assaulting customers in store. They just watched while it happened. Someone came up to me & asked how I was & gave me a coupon for a free drink two minutes afterwards… this location feels unsafe .

I mainly come here for a drink before work and it can be a hit or miss depending on who makes it. When i ask them to fix the drinks i get an attitude like I’m supposed to walk off with something that taste nasty and don’t say anything. The customer service here can definitely be better I feel like they hate their jobs and no need to pass it onto anyone.

I don't understand how a "bank" with 3-5 personal bankers standing around can't help make a credit card payment when the atm refuses to take cash. they just get paid to stand around on their phones. at least they could fire half of them and staff the coffee bar better.

Wasn’t really feeling it for work. Wifi was weak and drinks/food were meh. Seating not comfortable and outlets are limited. I’d rather take the money I’d spend on their food/drink to a coworking space that’s more comfortable with stronger/more secure wifi.

This cafe spot is perfect for working on your laptop or simply relaxing. The customer service is exceptional, with friendly and prompt assistance. If you have any banking inquiries, there are knowledgeable staff members available to assist you if you go up to them. And the best part? Capital One cardholders enjoy a 50% discount on crafted drinks. It doesn't get any better than that!
