Oh, where to begin... I turned the other cheek when Chase stopped taking coins a while back. No problem, I'll just pay the Coinstar fee, I suppose. Then Chase started closing down many branches, putting many people out of work and further inconveniencing me. Still, I put up with it, even though I come from a family of bankers and saw them suffer multiple layoffs over their careers. I feel my time with Chase is soon coming to an end this time. It's not just the long lines at the branch or the fact that they use people who don't understand English at their call centers. Chase used to be so good when I first opened my account with them over 10 years ago. What happened?? Well, they no longer care about fraudulent charges on customer accounts anymore. Strike 1 was when a home warranty company scammed me. Strike 2 was when Comcast was double billing me from 2 bank accounts. Both times, they took the money from the fraud right back out of my account, costing me even more money and frustration. Well, here we are at Strike 3, which they only have a few days left to rectify. I am literally out of patience with them at this point. This was over a 600 dollar charge for something that was not delivered. I even went to a branch to have them fax photo evidence to their so-called claims center only to find out days later that they never received the fax. No problem, I'll just go to a fax center and get a confirmation on the fax. I mean, I have already wasted many hours of my time on this. I should bill them my hourly rate for wasting my time. Let me tell you, the young kid in his early 20's at the fax center was far more competent than the Chase employees. So once again, Chase has my money tied up (this has been ongoing for months), and it is becoming too costly to do business with them at this point. I am tired of the "suprise" of having fraud charges reversed constantly. I just fired Chime for this a few months ago. I really hate when you are on hold for 20 to 30 minutes and have to hear their "hold recording" state that they care about my business when clearly they do not!! After reading the reviews, I see that I am not the only person they are screwing over by allowing fraudsters to just keep the money they steal. I wish Chase would just stop wasting my time...

DO NOT ENTRUST YOUR MONEY TO CHASE BANK!Somebody fraudulently wrote over $800 worth of checks against my checking account, using the mobile deposit app. The one where you take a picture of the checks and deposit them into your account without having to go into the bank. The checks deposited were bogus as hell! They were from some obscure unknown "TV" company, which were printed on copy paper! They were made out to me, and the "signature" on back was my name in a computer generated FONT! Did Chase tell me about it? Nooooo! I found out when I went to take money out of the account the next day to spend on my trip, and was met with a -$800 balance! The bank closed my account and said I had to pay the money back! After days back and forth, I was finally able to open another account, but not after my direct deposit was cancelled and I wasn't able to straighten that out for an additional 2 Weeks! (1 week due to my getting COVID.)So I opened a new account on this past Tuesday, FINALLY depositing TWO PAYCHECKS drawn on CHASE BANK, Thursday I went on the app to Zelle a coworker money, only to find out my account has been restricted, will be closed in 10 days, and THEN I will be sent a cashier's check! The kicker? NOBODY CAN TELL ME WHY THE ACCOUNT IS RESTRICTED OR CLOSED!!I talked to customer service (Ha!), the fraud department, fraudulent checks dept., and the branch manager, who even escalated my concern to Chase Corporate (A joke), and still no one could see in the system the reason why my account was restricted pending closure! . At this point I just want my money so that I can put it in my brand new accounts with United Credit Union. The customer doesn't mean jack to Chase. I am being penalized because they didn't protect my account from fraud, and now I must wait almost a week for them to release MY money, which came by way of my payroll check which was drawn off of a CHASE ACCOUNT.

I have been Chase Bank for over 18+ years. First they sell my mortgage to another lending which I have never heard of before and I fight to find out why after being a faithful clients for over 15+ years. I still banked with Chase and have 5+ accounts savings and checking but now I am ready to move from Chase to another bank that will protect my money. I don't have a Chase credit card ending in 5170 and Chase has allowed a 100.00 payment to be taking out of my account. I spoke with a representative and was told that the credit would be back in my account the next day. The next day the credit was not in my account and after speaking with several departments, online banking, credit card, checking account, I was told that it would be 16 days to receive my credit. I received the credit but they have now reversed the charge again. I will not accept someone taking money that they did not earn to pay their Chase credit card and it was not approved by me. If I do not receive my 100.00 back, I will be on every website, Facebook, etc providing a bad review as to how Chase treats their loyal clients.

They no longer provide medallion signature services. Clearly a waste of time coming to the largest branch in Chicagoland. They did get an additional star as they authoritatively said that chase does not provide.

My roomate and I have both been to this Chase Location and the same older indian man working at the foreign currency desk was extremely rude. I just feel like the customer service is usually amazing when I go to other locations and I am disappointed.

Giving one star did not come out easily. So here is my story. Two years ago our loan after purchase was transferred to Chase. We were like JP Morgan a lender and servicer. We liked that. Wow Chase!I am sure they took it as we has a higher interest rate and was that way as we did not want to put our life savings down on a second home. People said oh you can refi in a year or two which we attempted to do. Chase inundates you with all kind of refi mail " valued client". So after much deliberating...We applied over the phone. We have high scores, income and history. We are stellar clients.Despite their website that says you can call ..you cannot get through to anyone OR you have to go into a bank in person IF they have a loan officer there I was told.We applied on line. Agent A forwards us immediately to agent B. We gave them all our information to which they offered us 3.25 and we had to buy points to get it. Drop PMI not really but house will need appraisal. The next day Agent B calls to say oops our loan data did not save for some reason. Oh now we have to give it all over again. Now this time she puts my daughters past rental home on the loan as the place we want to refinance, She did not own that home!!! Now they have to cancel that application. We are told it takes three months to refi because of Covid as Chase is so busy. I am like h-mmmm. They get all kinds of info wrong again.. My daughter demands to talk to agents boss but her boss just has Agent B call us. Why put your boss email and phone number on an email if she never responds! We are not happy about rolling in over $12,000 into a refi and the payment was only saving us $150 per month. Then we get a new agent Justin who starts off good but then stops replying to requests, emails, calls and we are asking for other better loan options; how we can save money, answer questions?? He becomes a ghost.I get upset and call my daughter as we co-own this home.So we move on to a top 5 lender. Its the one you "Save" at. Clue!By the way you will never find Chase in the top 5. You will never find Chase in the top 10.Their interest rates are off the charts. In the meantime they sent out an appraiser who valued out house higher than we purchased but not high enough to get rid of PMI. I am like h-mmmm.We know what we invested in it; we looked the comps for this highly preferred neighborhood. I say we are getting taken down the road. We go to a top 5 lender who offers is 2.875 no points and no PMI and when they appraise home it comes in $425,000 78.8 loan to value. They say we have immaculate credit. H-mmm.We drop house note by over $400 per month, we gain a huge amount of equity. We roll in minimal closing costs and get all kinds of lender credits at close.Oh and we close this week ..about two weeks after we applied. The home buyer and refinance partner are supposed to be a team. The lender who says are they working FOR us is not in this case at Chase. We are not contacted by Chase after we go into the refi portal to state we want to cancel all application process. Oh but yesterday we get a weak email from Chase " oh we wish we could have kept you as clients" and my daughter says Chase treated us like a process..some cold procedure... and not personal and really did not have our best interest at heart. We got a much better deal. The moral of the story is that Chase has lost more than just us but has lost their edge and client after client treated just like we were.Never settle when you get that sick feeling in your gut that you are dealing with a uncaring lender who has your money feeding it. Move on!

This is one of the largest banks around. They made more money than any bank. They pay the cheapest interest rates in the world. .02% is a real laugh. Do not put your money in their banks unless you want them to get richer off your money. I got CD`c that pay .90% out of this city, Chicago. Look online and make money. Don`t let super large banks rip you off and make their pockets fatter. You can find and open accounts in other states that pay way, way more in interest than this rip-off bank..

I maybe be a lot of years late reviewing, but so far to this date, I have only attended 1 taping of Wait Wait Don't Tell Me dating back to September 9th, 2010 when the late Carl Kasell was still alive and the announcer and score keeper for the show. The panelists for that episode, were Tom Bodett, Faith Saillie, Peter Grosz, with Lisa Lampanelli as the Not My Job Guest. If you have ever attended a taping of the show you know that the show runs somewhere between 90 minutes and 2 hours to tape. Which then the show gets edited down to fit about an hour with of material for broadcast on WBEZ and member NPR stations, so depending on the time it takes them to tape the show, and even what else they have to do after the tapings, is to go back and re-tape any lines the crew members feel did not come in good enough turning the tapings. Since I have attended they have redone the theater that is done in, which at the time audience members could sit anywhere they want in the theater, no it is assigned seating in the theater. I have never been back in all the years, and the other times that I have seen the show live is the last 3 times that they have recorded in Millennium Park, as the show is popular, as when they have done it that tapings would be sold out generally and still assume when taping dates would be put on sale.
