We were there for a car loan and they are unavailable and not helpful at all!

Normally I wouldn’t be the one to post a bad experience but it had to be mentioned. Tried going to this branch to deposit cash and the door card scanner wouldn’t work, went to the drive thru ATM and of course the ATM wants to send me an error message saying they couldn’t deposit my cash, didn’t dispense my cash back, and just gave me a receipt to customer service and the screen said to call to ensure my deposit went through.Called customer service, sent me to claims department, and thankfully they resolved the issue. With that being said, if you’re coming to this branch to deposit or withdraw, I would suggest coming in on a day where they’re actually open so nobody would have to deal with an issue similar to this.

In Nov 2022, 3 checks of mine were "washed" (stolen in mail and changed the amount/payee). These 3 checks totaled about $15K. When I went into the bank to alert them, we did all the paperwork to get my money back. Two of the checks were deposited back in my account within a few weeks. One for about $1200 and for MONTHS I worked with their fraud department and local branch manager to get my money back. After 8 months I get a letter from Chase saying they coulldn't get the bank that cashed the check (Bank of America) to respond/give them the funds back and CLOSED THE MATTER!! Meaning I had to now go after BofA on my own money! Are you kidding me??? The only way it got resolved was for me to contact my wealth manager at Merrill Lynch/Bank of America to elevate the matter. I have heard Chase is NOTORIOUS for leaving their customers in the lurch for these instances, especially prevalent in the Chicago area. I have been a Chase customer for 30+ years and while a hassle, will move my account. Beware of Chase!!

Veronica was so easy to work with, she was patient in answering all my questions and seemed as invested in me and my best interest as I was!! I felt comfortable and invited in her presence, would recommend asking for her to guarantee a pleasant experience.

They have quarters, that’s about it. Worst location, saw the person up front who asked me to sit down, two individuals who came in after me were helped. I did not have a complicated ask.

I had 3 checks washed and deposted for a total of 15K. The first 2 they refunded, I have been fighting with them on the third. The branch mamager tried to help but has gotten nothing done in 8 months. I got a letter saying "sorry, Bank of America isn't responding to our request to get your money back so we are closing your claim". WHAT?! I had to go through my other banker relationships to get anything done. Guess Chase can just steal your money. Avoid at all costs.

I can never gain access to the atms after hours. I swipe my chase debit and the door never opens. I see a lot of pedestrians using the drive thru atms

Customer service poor at best. The teller was somewhat pleasant. The other employees I had contact with treated me disrespectfully. They were less than pleasant. They were three young women. They appeared to only be interested in their gossip session. When I asked for help their responses were short, sharp and inappropriate. They are a sad representation of the times in which we live. Hopefully these ladies will mature, become less self centered and better representatives for the place they work.

Happened to be eating a "Clark St Dog" from the pub next door and ran in to get quarters for laundry. Teller was friendly and efficient, no customers in line and was able to get in and out within a couple of minutes!

I recently switched banks to Chase out of convenience with their locations in the city and it has been great. I went into this Chase location to take out some quarters (for laundry of course), and the staff were amazing and friendly and helpful. I will 100% be back for any future banking needs!

Door won't open so can't get to the ATMs inside. The card mechanism isn't working.

I generally try to leave some space between particularly troubling situations and leaving a review, so I can process what took place and decide if leaving feedback is worthwhile. It feels worthwhile and necessary in this situation.I'm an African American professional--a physician. It was an 85 degree day and I was wearing some of my favorite shorts and a polo. I walked into the branch to have my recently deceased mother's accounts closed. When I walked in, there was a group of three white male employees huddled near the back of the office area talking amongst themselves. For some reason, they all seemed reticent to help me.One of them seemed to be reluctantly willing to help me with the request. But not before looking me up and down and smirking. He prefaced that these matters are rarely settled simply and that I should not expect funds. (that was a weird thing to say before even looking up the account). When he looked up the account, he determined that the death certificate showed by my sister days prior had not been processed and that I would need that documentation as well. He said, short of calling the president of Chase, there's nothing he could do. And that he could not change the rules just for me. He was snide. He was rude. His name is DAVID HUSSAR, and he deserves to lose his job with the way he talks to 15-year customers. When he refused to help me further, he walked me to one of his female coworkers of color. She was kind and empathetic, and she made the difference. Chase needs FEWER DAVID HUSSARs among its ranks.

Very rude encounter upon my arrival to the branch. Instead of a welcoming greeting a woman asked me “do you bank with Chase?” as if I was in the wrong place. I will be reaching out for further review.
