Today we walked into the branch with my grandfather who is Spanish speaking. We walked into the branch and my GPA was looking for the restroom , when the security officer approached him, I immediately said he doesn't speak English so if you have a question I will gladly answer it. All in all , this location serves a large Spanish speaking community it is crucial that more than one employee who speaks Spanish be present. Neither security guard on site spoke Spanish and this could be something that could have been easily avoided. You serve a Hispanic speaking community. The people who work there should also be Spanish speaking, please work on hiring security guards who are bilingual.Thank you cause if that man would have touched my GPA we would be pressing charges for assault.

Came to Chase bank to get a paper notarized since I am an account holder. I gave the young guy my ID and he asked what kind of notary do I want. My wife and I told him we wanted a regular notary and he said that we have to tell him what kind of notary we wanted. He named the acknowledgement, the jurat and another one so we told him the acknowledgement notary. He pulled out a tablet with notes and said he couldn't find what he was looking for. I told him the currency exchange never asks us what kind of notary we wanted and he said that we can go there for a notary. He then said that he don't feel comfortable giving us a notary because we didn't tell him what kind of notary we wanted. We went to the chase bank on 35th and Halsted the lady read the paper we wanted notarized and she notarized it.The paper we wanted notarized says, this section must be completed by a notary public. The spouse named above is required to sign this spouse's consent waiver in the presence of a notary public.

Most of the people working at this location are really slow, a lot of people waiting while 8 workers talking in the back room, only one window open on friday!!!.

Nice and cool, the air conditioning was working well, only one teller but they weren't super busy!Looked like they might have fixed the card scanner for after hours access to the ATM, it hadn't been available for a couple of months at least!

They have an Awkward parking lot. Drive up is tight and narrow. Can easily go over a curb on a turn. If I can avoid I will

I went to this Chase bank to receive a notary on a piece of paper. I sat for about thirty minutes because they told me the person that does the notaries was on lunch. I left and came back she was still on lunch. How long is lunch. I sat there fifteen more minutes. One of the other associates had to go out to the parking lot to get Ms. Kimberly Wilson out of her car. I know we all get a lunch but how long is theirs. Never again!!!!

If I could I would give this bank 0 stars. I went to Chase bank on western Ave.(July 14, 2021)due to me having trouble with my debit card. I was appointed to Ms./Mrs. Wilson and instead of her helping me out with my issue, she bombarded me with her ignorance. I had forgot my license and she kept on insisting that I could use my matricula. It’s mind boggling to know that just because I’m of Hispanic decent she automatically viewed me as an immigrant. At first I was upset but then I thought to myself that’s what I get for going to a ghetto location and dealing with a simpleton person. Lesson learned!!!

I want to open a new business account . I told clerk Amanda what do I want to do and I don’t have appointment . Amanda put me in line waiting for 40 minutes and someone told me I have to make an appointment. Amanda even won’t explain or apologize for her own fault . Other people have to help and apologize for her mistakes which is ridiculous.

The people make it, I love this location! I live in Lincoln Park & the Chase employees where I've lived for years barley acknowledge me. At 63rd & Western my 1st time there was night before Veterans Day and in-spite of everyone being very busy they all would nod & smile if you made eye contact with them. It was minutes before closing when the very pleasant manager (black lady) was summoned by security unlocked the door and welcomed me in with a nice, warm smile. Now mind you, I'm quite certain the North side staff would've rigged clocks fast & say they were closed. I was escorted out by a young, polite Latino gentleman making small talk. I went back, this my 2nd time, and there was a new Hispanic guy, very busy with customers but smiled & nodded when we made eye contact. And my teller, a very seasoned, polite black gentleman made an effort to pronounce my last name the proper, it's spelled Actipes, and it's pronounced Ak-teé-pis. He vowed to get it right the next time. And I'm quite sure he wii. Chase is lucky to have such a great staff like them. Most shops don't even get one nice person. Signed, red bottom shoe guy.

First off Abigail helped my wife Etta with opening up an account so quick and in a fashionably timely manner. Thanks for that! The next day we were having a problem at the chase bank in river oaks #Horrible ended up coming back to this chase on Western where Angelo solved the issue so well. This was our first time at the bank and we enjoyed them both and the cleanliness!! Two thumbs up for them both????

My account information was stolen here. Teller didn’t follow verbal passcode instruction.
