My phone was put into repair 11/20/23 and I was charged $202 and told it would be a month or so depending on the part arriving. I was never updated till, I called asking about my phone January 2024 and I get a call saying my phone should be ready mid week.Mid weeks comes and I get a call stating their not able to fix my phone on 1/10/24 so I go to the repair shop to pick up my phone and he states he's not able to fix my phone the technician quit or some excuse.I ask about the screen I paid for and can I have it for my troubles his business wasted, he states $83. I look at him like really after all you put me thru the least you can do is give me the screen as an apology.Never take on the job you're not prepared to see through or waste a customer's time and yes I got a full refund but wasted time.

Owner is shady & will lie about the condition of items if it benefits him. Not trustworthy.

I heard of this place and was recommended this place by a few people. I went in to get my printer ink refill and be on about my day. I spend $30 bucks on the ink refill ( both black + color). I was told it should be done in 1 to 3 days after telling them that the ink hasnt been used in a year. I was told the job can still be done, regardless after paying them for the service. Alright, cool. I left them with my cartridge. After after 3 days, I can around the area because I work around the area and figure it was done and I can go home from there and was told, they will need some more time because the cartridge is dried and want to make sure everything is all good. Ok, cool. They said they will call when ready. So 2 weeks with no communications and no updates, I've called in to check and see what was my status. I was told that my cartridge was still in works and they call me. As a computer technician who work with computers and ink cartridge, this shouldnt take this long. Ink refill can take no more than 24 hrs, based on the catridge and the sponge and lasted used. The latest is no more than a week. Anything more than that, and it not worth the fixed and best to get a new refill.But................ almost 3 weeks, lack of communications, no update status and last respond was, still working on this, I decide I wanted a refund because it doesnt take 3 weeks for a refill and no status update. After talking with the manager, he decided he was going to take care everything and within 2 days, my ink cartridge was fixed and refilled. One was refilled, while the other was replaced. So to wrap it up, they refill my order and fixed what the promise, which is good. But, I wished they could give current status updates to their customers because it would put them at ease, help customer want to continue their business with them. Lack of communications and the delayed fix is why dock points with them. But, I gave them credits for refill my order, cheaper refill price and being local in the south loop area. Not too far, from downtown

In regard to replacing my cartridges I should have bought it at Microcenter or Best Buy. They lied on the cost of the color cartridges telling me it was $1.99 each when it was $11.99 each for color cartridges for my Epson Workforce 545 over the phone as well as the main black cartridge being $11.99 instead of $18.99. Other than that the cartridges work but lesson learned to buying from small shady tech businesses like this in downtown Chicago coming from the North side of Chicago.

I think this is the only place in Chicago that refills ink cartridges, I am so grateful for them!Nigel and Dale were very helpful and provided wonderful customer service from calling to confirm they can refill my ink cartridges to allowing me to leave them two and call in a few days to get the second one filled. They refill them and package them in this bag with the yellow top.It was $16 to get a black 210XL ink cartridge refilled instead of buying a new one which is close to $27. Great way to save money and be environmentally friendly

Went in to get my laptop fixed. Needed a fan to be replaced. The person I talked to was very friendly. I told them I needed the repair done quickly and they were able to accommodate me, which I really appreciated. If you need a phone or laptop fixed, I recommend giving them a try.

Regarding phone/laptop repair, they over charge you with several hidden fees and return partially fixed to unfixed products without any refund. They charged me in 150$ for fixing my laptop though they ultimately failed to. They also charged me 90$ for fixing my phone but they ultimately failed to fix any of the issues at all. And these were minor issues, most of the cost was not communicated to me upfront as I wouldn't have gone ahead if it was 90$. They charge you a lot extra when they return the product. Edit: Will update soon, Theg followed up and will hopefully fix my issues

Impossible to find more professional people with 100% positive, "we'll get the job done" attitudes!

I brought my wife's iPhone in for repair on a Saturday. They fixed the phone and the turnaround time was very quick. I saved a lot of money and time by dropping my phone off with them instead of gong to the Apple store downtown. I also found out they repair computers, laptops, printers and other phones like my Samsung Galaxy phone. They also have printer toner cartridges and other supplies. If you are in the Chicago Downtown or South Loop neighborhood, I definitely recommend them.

It took them a couple of attempts, but they fixed my 2013 iMac after Apple told me I needed a new mother board. These guys figured out it was something different and my iMac runs like it was brand new. If your diagnostic comes back with PFM006, take it to these guys, they'll get it fixed too.
