I've used Marathon Movers for 4 years for moves around Chicago. The team is great! This time around, I had Jerry, Nelson, and Chris help move down a 4th floor walk up. Everything was efficient and they took great care of my stuff and where to place it.

Great service! Trel and Jaun arrived right on time. They were very careful with all my fragile items. They wrapped things as necessary and were diligent. They made the entire move stress free. 100% would use them again. Also have great rates.

I used Chicago Marathon Movers to move apartments at the beginning of September. They were very professional at every step from the phone call to make the reservation all the way through to the move in. They also stored my stuff overnight between move out and move in at a very affordable rate. Pie and Alec did an amazing job with the actual moves. They had to work on a busy street with no alleys on a holiday weekend and still got everything done quickly and went above and beyond. I would definitely use them again!

Marathon movers has been my go-to guys for my last 4 moves!! From start to finish, Jerry and Chris are professional, punctual, and incredibly careful with all of my belongings. They handled everything with efficiency and made what could have been a stressful day feel seamless and easy.
I always request Jerry and Chris if they’re available. They are both so friendly, respectful, and go above and beyond to make sure everything was placed exactly where I wanted it. I really appreciated their attention to detail and the way they treated my things as if they were their own.
Moving is never fun, but these movers truly made it stress-free. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and trustworthy movers. I’ll never use another company!

Great the first time we moved with them, but today was terrible. The movers themselves were very nice and took good care of the furniture, but they ended up being late, and the owner was unprofessional.
They showed up at 3:55, after we agreed to 2:45 on the phone. To matter maters worse, at the end they claimed they arrived at 3:30 and that that was the time we agreed to. They then tried charging us for an extra half hour.
During the move we had to help lift furniture to speed it up because our elevator reservation had run out (given they were late).
Later, the owner was very unprofessional over the phone (he didn't know he was on speaker).
Finally, we had previously discussed donating some furniture at no charge. Today we added two items, so I was fine paying some sort of fee for those two items, but the owner tried charging us for the furniture we had already agreed to donate. He even tried charging for an ottoman disposal when there was no ottoman there.
I was shocked by the entire experience today given how great they were last time.

Nelson, Gio, and grandpa Rif did the BEST job on our somewhat complicated 3 floor walk-up. Despite the heat, they were careful, efficient, and communicative throughout. I use this company every time I move and they never disappoint!!

We had a great experience with Marathon Movers for our cross-town move. Nelson, Miguel, Dex arrived right on time, worked efficiently, and very communicative. They took a lot of care with our items. Will be hiring them again for our next move!

Marathon Movers saved the day for us! We had movers scheduled, but due to an accident they had to cancel 45 minutes before our scheduled start time. I called Marathon Movers at 9am and they had two guys at my door and ready to go by 11am. Riff and Nelson were professional, friendly, and very efficient. They got us packed up and moved with such ease. I would definitely hire these guys again!
