Chicago Northside MRI Center provides a mixed patient experience. The facility is nice and the actual medical appointments are often positive. The technicians are described as wonderful, soothing, informative, and concerned, helping patients feel comfortable. Appointments can start on time and the process during the visit is fine, simple, and affordable, with some patients reporting a great and pleasant experience. However, the administrative and customer experience is frequently described as horrendous, aggravatingly awful, and very rude. Significant problems exist with scheduling, billing, and receiving records. The office refuses to provide electronic receipts, requiring in-person pickup or mail. The front desk and billing department are criticized for being difficult to reach by phone, often leaving callers on hold or sending them to voicemail without returning calls. This frustrating administrative process contrasts sharply with the good medical care received during visits.
Alan the MRI tech is wonderful. He was informative but soothing and nailed the IV on the first try (I hate needles). No bad experiences (yet) with billing etc.

On the day of appointment were 30 minutes late. They also promise 2 business days for MRI results, well not for me! It took multiple days to get my results, they were NOT READY OR SENT to my provider in time for my appointment which I was not notified about this delay. It pushed back my treatment by 1 month. Totally unprofessional.

Called before scheduling to have an estimated price with insurance quoted me $100-$200 dollars. Then proceed to bill me $600 with no explanation and not willing to assist or provide any supporting documentation or information. Go somewhere else.
