Had some nasty curb rash after sliding on an unplowed drive. In just over an hour I was able to get this smoothed over and repainted- very pleased with how much better it looks.

I brought in my Porsche Targa to address two small curb scuffs. The team did exceptional work with the repair and matched the paint exactly. There is a nice waiting room with wi-fi so you can work and wait for the repair on site. About 90 minutes all in. Friendly staff too. CWE is my go to shop for anything wheels from this point on. Thanks!

Rude, Unprofessional and disrespectful staff and team. Will over torque your wheels and want to argue they didn’t. Will try to get out of holding up their warranty until you contact multiple times

I give them a 10/10 I called in the morning spoke with women who is very friendly and knew everything and said bring it in a hour and will have it done by the day, she was spot on and she takes your car right away and pulls it in garage and they start on project, then the service they do on the car is 10/10 great place won’t go anywhere else, thank you guys, Brad the jeep brake caliper painted.

Don’t go here. They charged me $600 for the incorrect color I asked for. On top of it being the wrong color they painted the hub cap different than the wheel.
I tried to sort it out cordially but they just kept promising to call me back but never did. Finally after me pestering them I got in touch with the owner he offered to redo it for $500. The wanted me to pay them to fix their mistake lmao

⭐☆☆☆☆ Very disappointing experience with Chicago Wheel Express
I brought my original wheels to get them painted. When I dropped them off, the technician said they also needed to be straightened, otherwise I’d have steering wheel vibration. I agreed and paid around $900 for the full repair.
The result — the wheels were painted, but after just a few washes, the paint started fading and looked like it was never properly done. The manager said that’s “normal for black paint,” which was never mentioned before.
The main issue — the vibration in the steering wheel was still there. After the job was done, they stopped answering calls and emails. When I finally had time to visit them about a month later, they told me one wheel was still bent, blamed me for it, and offered to “fix” it again for full price. I agreed, but as expected, the problem didn’t go away.
Instead of taking responsibility, the manager started blaming my tires for being “too big.” When I showed him the correct tire size chart, he switched to blaming my wheels — even though they’re factory originals.
Bottom line: wasted time, money, and patience, with no real result.
If you care about quality work — don’t go to this place. They focus on speed, not results.
I guess their name says it all — it’s “Chicago Wheel Express,” not “Chicago Wheel Quality.”

Backed up into a nail and it put a big gouge /scratch on the side of the rim. Took it it and it was fixed in an hour. Looks great and can't tell that it was damaged.

Love this place so much, had my rims painted and rebalanced and repainted my calipers and added amg decals. Anything silver on my car was changed to black. Also would like to mention all this took two days. My car is officially ready for Rev rally ❤️

It’s been two months since my tire repair. I had corrosion on two wheels and I was needing to add air to my tires every other week. Discount Tire told me I had to replace them. I sought out a second opinion from Chicago Wheel Express. They told me if the corrosion was on two wheels then they will need to check for all. Fair. The price was good and I haven’t had any issues with tire pressure. Advice is to make an appt. I left my car overnight because I walked in.

I called in to get a quote on adjusting my rim. The guy initially quoted $100 if it’s on the inside of the wheel. However, when he saw that I was interested, he suddenly jumped to $150. It’s unbelievable! These people are just trying to scam me.

My first time getting service here. I had minor rim damage on my rear driver side tire I wanted fixed. They estimated 1 hour to fix the rim and they finished the job within the time. The tire rim looks brand new as if nothing happen. The front desk was professional and friendly. I would definitely come back again if I ever need any other work done on my car.

Curb rashed my wheel and these guys did an amazing job. Also had them detail the car. Looked great women i picked it up, and their prices were very reasonable. Bonus, they're next to a Metra station!

Charged me $360 to mount and balance my tires/wheels. After complaining, the owner agreed to refund me $235. I’ve yet to receive my refund and they aren’t returning my calls. Had to contest the charges with my bank.
I never leave bad reviews but you reap what you sow.
