I wish I could give this bank no stars. I lost money banking with this bank. Not reliable for business needs. They scam people out of money. I opened an account with Candy Pacheco she assured me that my needs will be met, only to take a loss on money and product. Definitely do not recommend this bank very unprofessional and irresponsible. They will tell you something and end up being the complete opposite. Then when you call customer service they are rude, unprofessional, and do not put any effort into meeting your financial needs. Please take my word DO NOT BANK WITH CITI. They are not reliable.

The staff is nice and friendly BUT THERE IS NO SECURITY at all. They dont have any permanant security guard stationed in the building which is scary especially since they are in the hood. This is not only dangerous for us but citi bank employees. I seen 2 incidents. One in the parking lot with a young, tattooed gang member high on drugs with a weapon in his hand walking back in forth in the parking lot. Of course i moved my car to tg3 street parking in front of the citi bank. Another incident inside where a guy was yelling at noone than left. Staff said he comes here every so often and does that. I told their staff this is the only bank i know that doesnt have a fulltime security guard. Eventually something will happen and citibank will be responsible for it.

I wish I could rate it 0 stars, opened a bank account with Citi about 3 months ago and the account got closed a week later and they told me I was going to receive a check with the money that was on the account , it’s about to be 3 months and I haven’t received anything

Today I went to this branch on 63rd and Kedzie and Rosa helped me, I think she is the manager of this branch and I want to say that apparently she doesn't like her job, the bank only had 2 people waiting to be served, the tellers talking to each other and He made me an appointment for another day to configure my Citi app, terrible service and I went to the branch on 47 and it only took 5 minutes and I didn't even have to wait. It's too bad that there are people like that, it's understandable when the bank has a lot of people but It is the last straw that they want to work by appointment when it is something that did not require much time.

Very badly…. They changed the ATMs and they don't work, especially on the weekend when the bank is closed and the ATMs don't work and I don't have cash... it's a headache... the ATMs don't work all the time...

Citibank is by the far the worst bank to work with. Their customer service representatives do not know what they are doing. They just transfer you to department to department, and their fraud team is also terrible! DO NOT do business with Citi, take it elsewhere and prevent bad customer service. They hung up the phone on me multiple times and give incorrect information. Lazy representatives is what they have, and managers don’t even help either.

Very bad service and the service is terrible for those who work at the bank.
And second, there are a lot of people and they don't serve quickly, the service is very bad and the ATMs don't work.

Cashing a check is nearly impossible. Manager was not friendly at all. I had to go back twice to get a check cashed. Top of all they had to call customer three times to verify.

Went to the bank teller to deposit my first paycheck and was scammed by the teller. My transaction receipt said one thing but my account later reflected a big difference. I hadn’t spent anything out the account and they charged me a $30 membership fee… which is unheard of by any other bank I’ve banked with. when i called they were still trying to run game with bogus calculations when i did the math and it still wasn’t making sense. Actually closing out my account today.
