I visited here June 8. There was a guy peddling creamed honey with false claims. He says the honey is combined with the comb to create a much more healthier honey. Creamed honey doesn't include comb, and it is no healthier for you than regular honey. Surely this individual knows that. He is a fraud and should be banned from the market.

Tis the season for garden fresh fruits and veggies and flowers, every Thursday at Daley Plaza. The market has not fully recovered to the pre Covid amount of venders. Its still a great place to visit because you may get lucky and find what you are looking for. I purchased the squash blossoms which I plan to stuff with goat cheese and bacon then pan fry.

I gather this is the oldest continuing farmer's market in Chicago and it's still one of the best. A wide variety of vendors sell a wide variety of great stuff. It's a real godsend to folks who work downtown. Special mention goes to the fresh fruit smoothie stand, it's the real deal.

Like the fresh vegetables by local farmers. $1,2 or$3 chards. Pickles, granolas and Windmill Ginger Brew, homemade candies, etc.

The location of this farmer's market is great. It's in the loop and it's right off the CTA stops. It's perfect if you work in the area and need to grab some veggies for dinner. The trouble is it has started to get vendors that sell similar items and there are not as many vendors as there used to be like to cook and when I go to a Farmers Mkt I look for different interesting things to cook with. This has more of a convenience store type of feel to the market. Generally not what I go to a Farmers market for.

this market is like a one stop shop. you can get anything there from flowers, seasonings, fruits, and veggies. it's a great area to enjoy your mornings, lunches alone or with friends, family, and coworkers. an entertaining area to support local vendors and enjoy the weather when it's nicer .

Get the bubbling melted raclette cheese on crusty baguette, studded with bits of scallions and gherkins. Way too big for one normal person to eat, so ask him to cut in half for you and smear some extra cheese on the cut side. Also try the toffee cookies and brownies from the nice man who is handing out toffee samples. Delightful!
