Too bad zero stars is not an option.
Scheduled a move 2 months in advance in Chicago. Paid for set time. Received tons of pre-move texts. Paid a $200 deposit to make sure all was set. 10 minutes into my 3 hour move window, I got a text saying they cancelled the move and rescheduled for a week later. Flights are booked; lease has ended. Not sure how a week later was going to help. This company absolutely sucks.
I only hope I actually get my $200 back since I had to hire a new company.

I engaged Clutter Moving Service for a moving appointment, expecting a smooth process based on their reputation. However, my experience was marred by significant issues, causing inconvenience and unexpected costs.I had never paid more than $500 for moving. Storage was usually $100/month for me and I could pick it up anytime. These people are the worst. MY TOTAL BILL WAS $1000. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. I do not want anyone to go thru the same ordeal I did. Given this, I don't even know if they are going to charge me every time I want to pick up my things.Key issues include:1. Short-Staffed: A three-person team was reduced to two, causing delays and increased costs. I was offered free for 2 hours at most i thought it would be at maximum 3.5 hours but nope it took 6 hours (see #2).2. Packing Errors: Items were repacked against instructions, leading to increased costs. Garment bags were put into boxes which led to more space needed. I told these movers several times not to put them in boxes.3. Destination Confusion: Unclear details caused repeated inquiries.I STILL DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE MY ITEMS ARE LOCATED.4. Unpacked Items: Some items were left unpacked, requiring extra effort. I had to move these items into my small sedan because these movers refused to pick them up.5. Picking up items: you cannot go inside the warehouse to pick up your items whenever you want. You need to make an appointment. YOU CANNOT LOOK THRU YOUR THINGS. I REPEAT, YOU CANNOT LOOK THRU YOUR THINGS.I know clutter will respond and make up some excuse about their policy; indirectly saying i didn't understand or whatnot.The point is if you are planning to look thru your items physically, then good luck. You won't be able to.You are better off using all seasons movers and a subscription to public storage. Now I have a 8 month subscription to clutter. Again, please do not use this company.
