Cute bar. Wish they had any other n/a beer besides Athletic but hey. Seems like a fun queer leaning space. Glad it’s there… but they really should take cash.

Very cool spot to have a casual drink with friends. I love the diversity of items on display for purchase in the back room especially all the little TV items. I had a Shirley temple with their house pomegranate syrup and it was delicious.

Great hole in the wall place to enjoy creative cocktails, good beer, and browse old school consignment pieces. Perfect place to pregame before a dinner.

An absolute gem.I reserved the back lounge room for my birthday and it was the best decision ever! It was easy to communicate via their Instagram, and the room was reserved and ready to go. They even let me bring a cake and hire a caricature artist to come! We played bingo, had delicious cocktails, and admired the decor and items for sale (I now own a rainbow pin striped shirt!). I would HIGHLY highly recommend this place for a birthday, an event, or just to swing by for drinks! My highlight of the night Mark and Jana who smiled the whole night, made us delicious cocktails, and made our group feel at home. Loved their drink recommendations, too. Thank you, Consignment Lounge! Will continue singing your praises to everyone I know and can’t wait to come back.

This place is awesome. It feels like you're hanging out at your uncle's house in 1988, except your uncle is cool, lets you drink beer, and doesn't talk at you all the time. Bartender was nice, I just ordered a beer so his job was pretty easy. The back room is where it's at. Very cozy.

I had just been thrown out of my usual bar in Forest Park because I have a Service Dog. I friend had told me that this place has Aviations, my fav drink and they are very close to my house, so I called. I warned the guy that I had my dog and he was very gracious and said I was welcome and warned me that karaoke would be starting in 2 hours in case that would upset the dog. It was a young crowd. A guy helped open doors for me because my dog was in a stroller. It was a nice friendly neighborhood place. I would have preferred table service and food but whatever. You can bring food or have it delivered! The bartender took one look at me and suggested a classic Aviation instead of the mescal version. Brilliant deduction! I felt comfortable and the drinks were spot on.

Consignment Lounge is a hidden gem in Chicago- it's a treasure trove of thrifted vintage trinkets and knick-knacks that add a unique touch to the ambiance. The service at Consignment Lounge was attentive and friendly, and the drinks were creative and fun. Even on a Saturday night, it wasn't crowded, which made it an ideal place for a relaxed and chill night out. Such a fun place to look for treasures and have a drink in a quiet, laid back setting where you can actually hear people!!!

I had a mezcal drink and a tequila drink, they were both lovely. The individual tending bar was genuinely lovely. Offered food for thought. Asked interesting questions and responded to patrons meeting each on whatever level they were at. Interior was so well designed, tastefully decorated, carefully laid out, and felt really comfortable. Great little unassuming spot dotted with treasures for you to take home.

Okay, where to begin!?This place is honestly the single greatest spot in Chicago for the vibe that they're targeting. It's a beautifully lit, wonderfully designed dream project owned by two of the kindest, most welcoming folks you'll meet. If this place didn't exist, the neighborhood just wouldn't feel the same. The staff, security, owners, and patrons all keep such a friendly atmosphere. I've never had issues talking to folks at the bar, even on busy nights. It's just the kind of place that puts you right into your social comfort zone, no matter how social you're feeling when you walk in the door.It has a wonderfully upscale garage-sale/vintage store vibe of walking the space and finding sculptures, structures, furniture, art, lighting, decor, apparel, and various merch items all for sale. Almost literally anything not bolted down or used for service can be purchased! You may notice there's so many superlatives in my review. It's that good. I travel to a lot of Chicago bars for work and when you factor in how much this bars means to every single person on staff, it elevates it to Chicago Elite status for me.So visit early and often, bring friends from out of town, introduce new folks to this place. Now stop scrolling through reviews and Uber/Lyft/bike/drive/walk/run/carry yourself to this bar!

Drinks are good and the place has personality. Many of the table and bar surfaces around the place were sticky and I can directly blame the bad/poor/spilly glass/cup choices, but we still had fun just needed to take a bird bath

Super interesting theme, nice people. They told us kids won’t be allowed after 8 so that we could plan our night.
