Zero stars if I could give, rude customer service they wouldn’t let me check out the studio walking in because people were setting up. Can’t help but think I was completely discriminated against just now even though I’ve been doing Yoga every day at a much better studio- Midtown! Also smelled disgusting in the lobby

STAY AWAY! Core Power Yoga is an unethical company, in my opinion. I tried to put my membership on pause for three months due to an injury and they insist on charging me for the following month, even though my doctor has advised me not to do exercises such as yoga.

I have been attending yoga sculpt classes regularly with Lincoln Park as my home studio since the middle of the pandemic (I took a long break at the beginning). It really has become a haven for me, a place to destress, find balance, and push my physical fitness. I feel like I've never been in better shape since doing sculpt 2 - 3 times per week. It's really challenging, but the benefits both physically and mentally are incredible. I feel like for once in my life, I actually have a strong core. It makes me feel powerful and calm all at once. Special shoutout to Caela who teaches Mondays at 4 pm CT and Ashley who teaches Wednesdays at 4 pm CT. Both are fantastic teachers with great music and unique styles. I love being a regular in their classes!

Alana's class was physically and mentally challenging. She is highly skilled, precise, and enthusiastic in her instruction. One of the very best workout experiences of my life.

Did my first class yesterday with London. As a midlevel fitness person and yoga beginner, she made this class very comforting, welcoming, but most importantly a great workout and sweat!!!

AMAZING!!! Love the mix between hot yoga and resistance training. I left feeling great after class. Calm, stronger, less toxins in my body and happier. Worth trying it for sure. The instructor was amazing.

Love sculpt- always have . Came here for my first class in a few years on Friday and I'm still sore on Sunday ! Nicoletta was super sweet and welcoming . She kicked our a** ! She's a good mix of enthusiastic and fun but not a drill Sargent. My only reason for 4 not 5 stars is that this studio is tiny. Weird shapes and the entire location is just small- a little cramped but overall still great.

Overall, CorePower as a brand really never disappoints. I've had some bad injuries over the years and hot yoga continues to be one of the few options I have for a fantastic workout without inviting my old injuries to flare up. I used to go to some of the free weekly classes at CorePower in Naperville during my college years (I'm not even sure if they still do those), but stopped once I found a more local studio owned by another brand near where I lived in Bolingbrook. Now, years later, I've found a new affinity for running, but new knee pains are coming out of the woodwork, so back to yoga it is! Before my first class at this location this past autumn, I tried logging in to my old CorePower account. Their site told me there wasn't an account linked to my email, so I started a new one and was offered a free week as a "new member." Since this location doesn't take online reservations, I showed up and told the woman behind the desk my email. She said my name was in the system twice (probably from my old account that I couldn't log in to), but still allowed me my first week free. NICE. I was already planning on purchasing a class package in advance, but hey, a week of unlimited yoga for free sounded absolutely fine to me! If you've never taken a class here: - Bring your own mat, or you can rent one for $2 for the hour (your first week these are free) - Bring a towel if you're doing hot yoga, or you can rent one (free during your first free week) - Bring a lock for your locker if you so desire. You can also borrow locks, but I'm not sure if you have to pay a rental fee. - Oh, and bring WATER, OKAY?!?!?!?! You need it. During that first class, I took an afternoon hot yoga fusion class with Kelly, and she was everything I wanted a yoga instructor to be. I'm sorry, yoga *guide*. The way she worded everything and the quotes she chose were so on-point with the things I'm going through personally lately, that I was sniffling a little bit from tearing up. What a great experience. It helps that I sweat quite a bit as well and got my heart rate up, and neither my knee or back injuries haunted me the whole time. I absolutely love CorePower facilities, because I know that after I have a hardcore sweat session in the studio, I can take a shower in a clean bathroom with incredible-smelling body wash. There are also hair dryers, q-tips, deodorant... everything! I can't wait to come back for more classes. Love this location!
