Cricket Hill is a nice spot along the Lakefront Trail with an amazing and unique view of the Chicago skyline. It is a great, free place for a relaxing walk, kite flying, or playing fetch with a dog. In winter, it is a perfect spot for sledding and snow, suitable for beginners and very small children due to its lower, less rough slope. The hills can be busy on weekends, but there is ample parking. It is a very windy area, so warm clothes are recommended.
