I had been renting a unit from this Cubesmart since approximately 2012 when Kenny was the manager. I had a lower level unit so I needed to use the main freight lift near the 3 over head doors.
I didn’t really have a problem until this past March when someone cut off the padlock I had been using and stole some items.
Amy was kind enough to bring it to my attention and offered a replacement lock free of charge. Apparently someone piggy backed into the building and stayed after hours. My issue is the upper management offered nothing in terms of compensation for any of my belongings. What was stolen was worth around $300 so not worth filing a police report report over. Additionally, the facility uses very old (analog) surveillance equipment so not able to gather any useful footage. The upper management would not file a police report even though it is their property that was trespassed. I asked if he could maybe take something off a few months of my rent, which he didn’t. I guess he isn’t familiar with the leaky bucket theory and holding onto existing customers. Lastly, their freight elevator is in need of serious repairs. Overall the business has not invested any resources into updating their equipment.
I no longer have trust in their ability to protect my valuables and have cancelled my agreement with them after 12 years.
Beware of what you store in this facility. Many new businesses (Easy Storage) in the immediate area offer newer buildings with updated security at a considerably lower price.

Amy was incredible! She explained everything in depth, showed us our unit and went over all the directions we needed. She answered all of our questions and was just a pleasure to interact with. You can tell she cares about the business and takes pride in the service she delivers to customers.
