The pharmacy at CVS Lincoln and Damen is sooooo unpleasant. I just hat going there. The pharmacists and staff are always in a hurry, ultra-officious and self-ritious. It may because they're short-staffed for the amount of business that they have and they become irratable and defensive. Some of the cashiers are pleasant and helpful, so not 100% of the staff at the pharmacy is difficult. I talked to a pharmacist called Dimitri as I needed assistance with a prescription mix-up and he was beyond rude.

Walked in at 5 till close (I get it that's annoying I work customer service too but the only time I could come in was right after work) pharmacy was already closed, and three other people were trying to get the guy's attention. He made eye contact with me and walked away. I get it, you want to be done for the day. But if someone comes in even one minute till close you're supposed to help them. So now I can't get my meds and I'm frustrated.

Went into this store tonight because the website states it's a 24 hour pharmacy- the gentleman working knew the website stated this but said it hasn't been right since before the pandemic and said the closest one was ELK GROVE... sir. You knew the site was wrong and you also told me to drive to Elk Grove for allergy medicine. I get that this isn't your fault the site is wrong, but you should really have someone escalate this if it's a known issue.. and maybe find a better recommendation as an alternative.

Made an appointment to get a Hep A vaccine for work, and called ahead to make sure it was there and in stock after my previous appointment was canceled at another CVS location because their vaccine had expired. Finally checking in 2 hrs later for the appointment, and the pharmacist told the technician to grab the wrong vaccine from the fridge, so I corrected her. She said “you’re the one who called ahead, you said you wanted Engerix” (which is Hep B, and not what I said or made my appt for) and told the tech again to grab the wrong vaccine. Truthfully, I don’t think she knew the difference between the two. Turns out they didn’t have the Hep A vaccine. I asked her to call another CVS and advocate for them to take me as a walk-in since I now had 2 canceled appointments and it was now too late to make another. She instead told me to go to the Minute Clinic (which doesn’t take my insurance), pay out of pocket for a $300 vaccine, and then mail my receipt to my insurance company to be reimbursed (which does not work and I’d have been left with the bill). If I hadn’t known the brand names of the different Hepatitis vaccines or been up at the counter while this was happening I’m certain she would’ve given me the wrong vaccine. I don’t know if this location is just chronically understaffed or this person in particular is the issue, but this is a safety issue and they are going to harm a patient if this isn’t addressed. There are medications that sound much more alike than “Havrix” and “Engerix-B.” Not one apology the entire time either, just continued to say it was my fault for calling and asking for “Engerix-B”

The pharmacy staff is horrible! They hung up on me mid question regarding what COVID tests they offer at their location as the website was given mixed answers.

Pharmacist was dishonest, rude, and unhelpful and the store was a mess. Wouldn't recommend it.

This CVS location is just bad. Whenever I go to this CVS is so frustrating, they are always out of everything. The shelves are constantly empty and when it's time to check out there is never an associate ready to check you out they want you to do self check out all the time while the employee stands there and stares at you. I already have a job and it's so annoying to go to a store and have to do the job of the people who supposedly work there. I have stopped going to this location.

We were there this afternoon. Picking up an anti-itching medicine. And I bought my Lindt Chocolate Truffles. This is another location that carries my products, I like to use. If another store runs out or says it's "LOW IN STOCK" on their online page you can still find it in other stores. Like this one.

Great hours, parking-a-plenty, and 5-star staff (esp. pharmacy). I think that is a review that should help but this app wants me to post a certain number of characters and/or words so pardon this superfluous circumlocution expanding upon a nice store with great individuals. That did it!

This is by far the worst pharmacy I have been to, with the exception of two staff that I believe are the actual pharmacists. They are soooooo rude and sloooooowwwwwwww! It is in walking distance to my house, so sometimes I go there. I am quickly reminded why I don't. I have walked out several times bc they piss me off 9 out 10 times

The minute Clinic here is a disorganized mess. The online reservation doesn't allow same day appointments either through the website or the CVS app. Which means that when I went this morning, I made sure to arrive before 9 am when they open on Saturdays. I suspected that I could have strep throat, so I arrived at 8:50 am. As I walked towards the minute clinic offices and computer, I noticed the female doctor opening up the office. I greeted her with "Good morning. I know you don't open until 9, but can I put my information in the computer now to get the appointment scheduled?" She stated that I'd have to wait until 9 o'clock before the computer would allow me to make a walk-in appointment for that day. I sat down in one of the chairs in front of the pharmacy to wait until 9. At 8:57, a man and his son arrived and I could hear him asking the same questions that I'd asked to the doctor. She gave him the same reply, that he'd have to wait until 9 to make a reservation. Seeing as though I had been sitting in the chair around the corner for 7 minutes prior to them arriving, I felt that I should have had first crack at the computer to make my appointment. I stood up and peaked around the corner and made eye contact with the father who was now hovering over the computer. He proceeded to stand there until the computer allowed him to start logging in at 9. The kicker: the doctor walks out of her office and asks the father, "Is it letting you make the appointment?" He said "yes." This is when I decided to speak up. I asked the doctor, "Is there another doctor coming in this morning?" She said "No, I'm the only one this morning." I replied, "so is your first appointment going to be the person who uses the computer first, or the person that arrived here first?" "She said "I have to go by the computer system." So basically, the doctor knew that I'd been there for over 10 minutes but never mentioned to me that I should probably wait in front of the computer so that I could book the first appointment, otherwise I would be next in line to whoever stands in front of the computer before me. Even more annoying was that she had no inclination to take control of the situation and manage the business. She could have easily mentioned to the man boxing me out at the computer that I was there first, and that I should be allowed the first appointment. I sat back in the waiting room chairs for an additional 30 minutes exactly before I could be seen. I guess getting to the minute clinic before everyone rise and 10 minutes before opening gets you to the back of the line. Thanks minute clinic for being so efficient. I won't be returning to your non-existent reservation system and horrible ability to take patients in order. Literally, there were 2 patients and you couldn't figure out who was there first. Pretty pathetic

While these pharmacists are sometimes curt, it also just simply feels like you are an inconvenience to them when dropping off or picking up. Sometimes the perceived under staffing seems to really impact their customer facing mood. I tend to have a better experience at the CVS at Western/Irving.
