So this morning, I went to buy a box fan upon entering the store. The girl who was supposed to be at the register was walking around talking on her phone. I looked for one and then I asked her do you guys sell box fans? She said no we don’t carry those. She didn’t even look We only carry these little ones she said so I walked out the store but something told me to go back upon going back. Something told me to look up They were sitting on top of the refrigerators. so I looked for another employee who is actually doing work. I told her what happened. She was in disbelief for her coworker irritated that she had to stop what she was doing but She got one down for me. She took it to the register mind you the girl is still on the phone. I asked her the price and she told me $38 for a box fan. I told her I would not be purchasing that then she had an got a even bigger attitude than what she had already and proceed to gossip on the phone. saying something about me, but I let it go no employees who worked the front registers should not be on the phone. If you wanna talk on the phone go home you so busy gossip on the phone you couldn’t see that they were in your face please hire people who want to actually work and have better customer service. That could leave the attitude at home.

I think when they hire ppl they ask: Do you want to help customers? No. Perfect. Will you constantly be annoyed when you have to do your job? Yes. Perfect. Will you always have an attitude? Yes. Perfect. Will customers be a burden to you? Yes. Perfect.
Today I officially had enough. Always attitude always a problem. I'll only come to get my scripts from now on. Management needs to get their life together because the staff here is ALWAYS so rude! Checked out the other reviews and I see it's not just me they're trash to other customers too. Terrible.

The only people who seem like they have any common sense, are the people in the pharmacy department. Whenever I come in here, employees act like they’re not supposed to help a customer. I was just in the vitamin section, and I’m trying to find a product. I rang the bell to let someone know I’m in the aisle. They’re literally two people who work there in the next from me, they see me standing there, and says nothing until I’m staring at one of them as I’m waiting for them to say something. I left out. If you don’t want to come to work, that’s cool. Don’t come! It makes no sense that the customer service is horrendous every single time I come in this place. I already do not shop at target, now I have to find someplace else to go near my home? Ridiculous!

Cvs has the convenience of the minute clinic. This comes in handy when your doctor is too far away. The flu and other services is totally good, knowing that help is close by.

Of all the stores I've ever given a 1 star review, this is the one I've been to most often. I used to live right across the street from it (Actually in two different locations, one on 54th St. The other straight north on E Hyde Park Blvd.) I just used to pick up overpriced toiletries here on the way back to my apartment from shopping at Hyde Park Produce. No more. I've had enough really bad experiences with enough really bad CVS's that I regret doing business with this one. I'm now just assigning 1-star reviews to any CVS that seems more like a normal CVS than an exceptional CVS, and I'm giving 5-star reviews to the CVS's that break the mold. Nothing against this store in particular, other that it's a CVS, and I prefer just about any other chain or pharmacy to CVS at this point.

If I could give it no stars, I would. Called and called and called for almost a week trying to have a Rx transferred from Walgreens. No one called back. Then when they did, they lied and said my doctor deactived the Rx.
