The pharmacist at this location is the most wonderful woman. As is the rest of the staff.
So helpful. Really go above and beyond. I’ve been going here for years. CVS no longer carries one of my medications and I have to use Walgreens for this. Being forced to deal with them is a reminder of how fantastic this pharmacy staff is.
The staff in the rest of this store are also great. Very helpful and friendly. Especially Noah. He’s great.
Some of the Karen’s on here complaining with one star reviews about things that are out of the employees control are ridiculous.

I love this CVS because they always have my Alegra D 12 count. I have called several neiborhood CVS and they are always out.

Rang the pharmacy for information about a vaccine and the 'phone system' hung up on me. I rang back and got another pharmacist, and he gave me outdated information about vaccination. I told him what was on the CDC website and he refused me service because he said I wasn't over 65. If you want healthcare, don't come here.

Once again I was ripped off at the CVS kiosk which didn't recognize the CVS promotional coupon in my CVS app. Wasted time with the CVS cashier who tried to help but couldn't get it to work.

Bad store. Everything locked up. No employees working. Stood there for fifteen minutes waiting for someone to unlock the door. How do they make money if I can't buy anything?

I would like to give a shout out to this CVS location! I stopped in this morning as I needed a cheap cooler to carry my frozen Chicago pizzas back home to Ohio! I asked Kristina for help to first find the selection of coolers, and she came around the counter and walked me to a few different sections in the store where I could find them. She helped me find something that would work for me, then walked me back to the back of the store where the ice bags were. Once at the counter I realized I wasn’t thrilled to pay well over $30 for a cooler I was only going to use once. Kristina reminded me that as an ExtraCare rewards customer I was likely to get a coupon, so I bought the bag of ice as I needed that anyway, and sure enough a 35% coupon printed on the receipt! I decided to buy the cooler after all as the price was more reasonable for what I needed it for. I was very impressed with the customer service I was given in what I now read is a troubled location in inner city Chicago. Kristina went well over an above to help me as an out of towner, and I appreciated the assistance. She also seemed to know customers by name that came in while she was helping me at the register, which helps the local neighborhood.

Staff member opened the door to let someone out but told me they were closed. Hours stated otherwise. Person had instant attitude. Off to Walgreens where at least their stated hours are correct.

over the last 6 months or so, there has been about a 50/50 chance of being there while thugs walk out with whatever they want. The worst is when you are checking out, actively in the process of spending money while they walk out with baskets full of merchandise for free while employees watch. I have spoken to employees multiple times about it and they said there is nothing they can do. I live right by this CVS and used to go there multiple times a week but started going to the 7-Eleven around the corner instead. You may pay a bit more, but they value honest and hard working people in the community.
