On the evening of December 21st my bf, his cousin, and myself were shopping at CVS when an employee asked a black customer to empty his backpack and let him look through it before he could leave the store. The man had a grocery bag from CVS, seeming to have already paid. The search seemed unprompted and solely based off of racism. My bf and I had grocery bags full of alcohol and things with us and were not asked to look through it before we left, nor were any other white customers.

Went to a scheduled vaccine at 1:30pm and the person behind the desk said they were on break. The sign posted stated their break is 12:30-1pm. Don't recommend going here, they don't even honor appointments.

I went for flu & covid shots. Both pharmacists as well as the front cashier (with my coupons) were friendly and helpful. It feels kind of odd to write a review of a CVS, but this CVS experience was a stark contrast to my previous CVS in DC. I'm glad to find this store.

Whoever is the manager of this location is doing a superb job. Regardless of the time of day, the staff is helpful, friendly, and genuinely cheerful including those stocking shelves, the front cashiers, to even the pharmacists. The store is always well stocked and immaculate. Fantastic location that is leagues above many other Chicago cvs locations.

It is a good location with easy to find street parking. The staff is friendly as well. The only downside i noticed was if you need something from a locked case, you need to find someone to open it as opposed to a call button near the cases. Otherwise, it is very good.
