Arrive about 20 mins before closing and employee ran away from the doors and I observe her allow a non employee to enter and lock the doors.

I always drive past this dollar general store. It look dirty on the outside so I have never stop here. I use to like the on 82 and Racine but they never seems to have what I’m looking for. So one day I just stop to see how the inside look. Omg it was so clean on the inside. The shelves was stock with everything and I do mean everything. This day the manager (didn’t get her name) and her coworker (dark young lady) was inside packing up the shelves and cleaning up. Not sure what they was cleaning up because the store was already clean. I told them that this is my new favorite dollar general store. I’m sorry 82 and Racine but they stole my heart with the clean store and the shelves stay packed with items I want/need. Please don’t come here with y’all bs. Let’s keep this store in over neighborhood. Ladies keep up the good work. I had to give them 5 plus stars they deserve it. Thanks again

Store is very clean, great selection, great environment, Marcina & Michael are very helpful and polite and are an asset to the Company. This is the BEST DG on the south side of Chicago.

It was decent, clean and organized. I had to check my backpack at the front, which I don't appreciate but have come to expect from dollar stores. They have an app with digital coupons that you tap into with your phone number. There were bins of out-of-season candy at the checkout. The prices were not clear, and the deal I got wasn't worth it. Compared to the bad rep dollar stores seem to get, this one seems all right.

Friendly staff, nice store. However, Everytime I go in I have a small backpack because I ride my scooter. And everytime I'm told to put it behind the counter. I told them I didn't want to leave it there, but they said I have to. I feel discriminated for being male. They never tell women to do the same with their huge purses. This needs to change. Other than that, great place to go to get things

Been a dollar general customer since its beginning days only to go to this store to receive worst customer service in life i went to load a credit card i have loaded in this store the month before to be told by new cash register operator that they dont load those i asked to speak with manager who said the machine was broken i said thank you but please tell your employee to tell truth instead of openly telling me i was wrong they dont offer that service the manager then goes off yelling to not talk about her employees like that yelling even as i passed the store window she was hitting and yelling thru
