An employee treated like a hardened criminal today for trying to save the planet and use a reusable tote. One of their employees ran as fast as she could at me (I thought she was gonna tackle me) I then tried to walk past her and continue shopping. She then ripped my headphones out (that’s assault!). She then yelled at me that I can’t have a tote in the store now. I literally randomly dumped all my items on a random empty shelf and walked out. If dollar general wants to treat everyone like a thieving criminal that’s their right. Just like it’s my right to walk a bock south and spend my money at the Walgreens or the bodega down the street where you are allowed to use a tote and not get treated like a hardened criminal. I guess it’s a good way for the store to make a couple cents. Bam reusable totes and then charge people .10 per bag. I personally will never shop here again until they end this idiotic idea and end their ban on reusable tote bags. Also that employ is very lucky I didn’t call the police and press assault charges on her. Please teach your employees not to assault people.

Maybe one of the saddest stores I've ever been in. High turnover rate, always hiring. They've sold me rotten meat too many times to count. How do you even make pepperoni go bad?? It doesn't even have to be refrigerated.

I love this store! Doing epidemic people there helped me tremendously I could almost say ,they my life there were not many stores that will open in this area! So they were really kind and delivered ? every time!

I love this store, especially since it's so close to me. Before I would have to go very far to a dollar general. But now, don't have to. I love shopping there. Service is good and people working there are polite and helpful..

I shop all over Chi to get bargains and I have never seen any other store managed as ridiculously as this place! When they get shipments in, they set all the boxes in the aisles, in front of the merchandise making it impossible to get what you came for. This is a constant occurrence, the boxes just sit there for days!!Common sense should tell these people that if customers can't get at the merchandise, they can't make the money they are open to get. ??I have moved carts of boxes in my way here. I have squeezed between boxes and shelves to get what I came here for, I'm done with this place, clearly they don't want my money!!

Like most dollar stores, it can be pretty junky in there with crates in the aisles. That said, the staff are AMAZING. I go there often and they're always so kind and pleasant. I forgot my wallet one time and they put my items behind the counter until I came back. The customer service is WONDERFUL.

I love this store and the employees are always sweet even tho underpaid and overworked (the reason for only 3 stars). I SUGGEST IF YOU SHOP HERE And AGREE, TIP YOUR CASHIER IF YOU ARE ABLE. ?
