Bought four glasses, asked the cashier lady to packed them in paper to avoid to break. She just handed me two pieces of paper, enough only to protect two of the glasses. She did not move one finger to pack them. It is her job to pack the merchandise, not mine. Lately these stores are employing all kinds of people. They are not doing their job. Their are chatting on their phone even when they scan the items and charge the card. Happened on the Dollar tree on Devon ave

Terrible customer service! The management is power hungry. You can differently find out a real person's colors when you give them a little power/ authority.

This store is better stocked than the one in my neighborhood. The hours are wrong online. They open at 9.

Store is usually well stocked but the older man manager with gray hair had a teenager being the only cashier ringing customers, blowing up balloons, and answering the phone (all too much for one person and created a long line) while the manager and another employee were nearby.

Today, we visited the Dollar Tree located at 2825 W Devon Avenue, Chicago, IL 60659. I do not know the name of the employee, but they appear to be of Middle Eastern descent. While my younger brother and I were shopping for cleaning supplies, he picked up a plush toy. The employee then told him that he was not allowed to carry the item around the store and stated that we were not welcome. In addition, the employee used inappropriate language. My mother, brother, and I are very upset by this incident and will no longer be shopping at this location.

This is my second review on this store and nothing has changed. The same nonsense. I waited in line for 20 minutes because the same cashier had another excuse as to why she didn't call the manager for help. Absolutely ridiculous! They have no regard for their customers whatsoever! They never have enough employees working there and it's ALWAYS busy! The last time I went there I was glad that I had cash. After waiting for 10 minutes in a line of umpteen customers, I walked up to the cashier and threw the cash on the counter for my items. I was not gonna wait another 10 minutes before the cashier decided to call for help! If you can find another Dollar Tree, by all means do not shop here! It's atrocious.

I happen to notice that a lot of the women in this part of town dress like medieval peasants. That, coupled with lively OGs blasting rap under neon lights next to a dollar tree truly does the legacy of Mozart justice (if you hate him).

This has become one of the better dollar tree stores I've been to, but I'm probably biased because it's a 3 minute bike ride from my apartment. It's been under new management for about a year now..they are constantly stocking product and while sometimes things run out, you can save a ton of money on things, sometimes even name brands, that you're paying 3 to 4 times more for at well known big name stores. With prices and taxes being what they are, I'm glad they survived some of the recent closures other locations have experienced. Excellent staff as well.

Big store, great selection, bring bags if you don't want to pay for bags. There is a parking lot in the back but street parking is closer to the entrance.
