Horrible grooming experience! The groomer whose name is Destiny was too lazy to do her job properly and ended up just entirely shaving my 15lb shihpoo who ended up with redness and bleeding from his paw. She said he was matted and she did the best she could and charged $95 for this horrific grooming job and also suggested the bleeding was caused by dog licking himself and that I should use a cone. The dog had some matting from the harness and on his belly yet she completely shaved him off including his face , tail and ears! When I addressed these issues to the owner- Mandy Baruch -she defended the groomer and had similar type of attitude that’s why I had to cancel my account with them and do not recommend this company to anybody.

I love earth pups so so much! They take such great care of my two dogs Sheldon and wolfie! I've always had anxiety boarding my dogs but I know now when I bring my dogs here that everything will be alright :) the staff is amazing! Thank you earth pups!!

We just adopted a dog. First time dog owner. The team at Earth Pups was so patient with us and answered all our questions about grooming. boarding and more! Our new dog loves visiting Earth Pups!

Earth pups does a phenomenal job with my dog’s grooming. My dog has never had better groomers! Both Mel and Destiny have truly impressed me and deliver consistent, quality results and worked with me in the beginning to customize the cut I wanted - even when I didn’t know what I wanted. Every time, my dog comes out looking and smelling his best. I plan to take him here for a very long time and am so happy to have this great place in my neighborhood! I can’t wait to try out the daycare next! Thank you, Mel and Destiny!

I don’t have a pup, but I saw a rather apparent review from one who lacks the opposable thumbs to type their own review. This lady was dropping off her gorgeous dachshund in the morning and they were on a retractable leash, the dog beelined it to the door, stuffing their nose right into the door while mom was closing up the car. Clearly the pup loves it here and was super excited to go to daycare. The pup kept looking back as if to say “MOM! Hurry up!” It was absolutely adorable and clearly is the best endorsement of such a facility you could ask for.

I cannot say enough good things about Earth Pups! As a first time dog mom, I worried about sending my pup to the perfect daycare and Earth pups has gone above and beyond what I expected. The staff loveeee the dogs and treat them like their own! My pup is always so excited to walk in the door and exhausted, in the best way, when I pick her up. I recommend EP to every dog parent I know. I also love the daily updates on their instagram stories to see what fun the pups are getting into!

We love Earth Pups and their commitment to small dogs. Other dog hotels/day cares do not always understand or respect the specialized care that small dogs require. It is great and comforting to have Earth Pups as an option to send our dog while we travel abroad. Other daycares let small dogs roam alongside and get trampled by bigger dogs. Since earth pups specializes in small breeds, we always rest assured that our dachshund will be alongside dogs of her size and in the safe hands of Earth Pup’s kind staff. They also don’t mind a dog that likes to bark here and there, which not every daycare will do. Other daycares may make snide comments about dogs barking too much. Earth Pups is a stand alone location with no tenants above them, so you do not have to worry about your dog getting rejected for simply barking too often. We love this place and it is the only daycare we use in Chicago.

Earth Pups is a great place to board your small dog. They are a facility that specializes in dogs under 20lbs. My dog Luna loves it there and has spent many days in daycare/boarding. She always comes home clean and the staff is very responsive and nice!

Couldn't love this doggie day care more! I've been taking my Havanese puppy Coconut there since she was 16 weeks. The staff are so caring! As soon as we walk in the direction of Earth Pups Coco will pull in her leash to get there. She loves playing with the other small pups. Coco has also stayed overnight. Great place for small pups.

We LOVE Earth Pups for our 7lb dog! We mostly bring her for overnight stays (not daycare) because the trek from our home is about 30 minutes, but it's worth it to know she is safe and surrounded by other dogs her size when we're out of town. We also get her groomed onsite and they always do a fabulous job. Highly recommend for tiny dog owners and I only wish that one day a second location will open closer to Rogers Park or Evanston ;)
