There were 3 of us having dinner and all 3 left extremely disappointed. The pasta dishes came out in minutes (felt like they just needed enough time to microwave something). The dishes were bland, poorly presented and literally felt like the chef took a day off and they were just trying to get through the day.

We had an excellent experience at La Pizza & La Pasta! The server was great! She answered all our questions and added to our experience. The food came out quickly and was warm and fresh. We can't wait to come back!

I come here pretty often, but this was my first time at the more casual dining location. Service was good--a bit slow to start but then fine. Food was not as good this time. The calamari was not fresh--smelled like fish. Salad was good, but had some lettuce spines that were a bit brown--again, just not what I expected. Pizza was soggy in the middle. Maybe an off day, but the pizza downstairs to go is much better. Recommend with qualifications--weekends seem to be challenging for the cooking and wait staff. For better dining, go to the higher end Vino location, or get pizza downstairs.

In general thought food was disappointing, how it was sometimes described on menu and what we received was sometimes misleading. Hard to get the waitress when needed. Didn't check in to see if we wanted dessert etc Love visiting here and shopping. Just wasn't convinced this meets the hype from what we ate there.

The price of the food is absurd and both pastas tasted the same it was pasta and bland tomato sauce even through we ordered two separate items. Service was not good either. It took ten minutes for our waitress to come to us after we sat down and did not check in with us, we would have to wave her down.

Fun place to visit, shop and eat. Food was good considering you are not dining in Italy. Friend got ravioli in a Pomodoro sauce and it was more of a creamy tomato sauce that she said tasted like chef Boyardee. I had the tagliatelle alla bolognese which was meaty and thick noodles. The arancini were very good as was the insalata di cavolo nero. However, the salad generous in with the ingredients and was a good size to split or enjoy as an entree. Nice if a half option would have been available. Overall we enjoyed our experience and enjoy visiting Eataly when in Chicago.

Service was very very "meh" just seemed like they were super bored to be at work. 1 out of 2 people ordered a drink, and they brought it back and handed it to the wrong person. Could tell server was not mentally there. Food was good, prices were high. 2 pastas and a lemonade nearly $70 with tip. No pasta is worth that, especially for the small portions you get from Eataly.

The place is really nice, like all Eatery. Unfortunately all of the people working there are NOT smiling, are NOT making you feel comfortable, are just looking at their watches for their time to go. Food was ok, but still nothing special. The red wine was very hot....far away from the proper temperature.....Wont go again.

Wow! We had the most wonderful experience. The staff had read out request on the reservation and more than accommodated us. Everyone was so kind, and helpful and went above and beyond to make sure our family had a wonderful dining experience. Will definitely go back.

We are regulars and love the food but service has really gone down hill. Got the wrong bread and our appetizer came after the main course was served. Never ever came to check on us. Had no water and felt totally ignored.

One of the best tasting lunches in awhile. Food is excellent, service is very responsive and cheerful. I would absolutely come here again. The only caveats are noise level and price. I had to scream to speak. The cost pretty steep for a lunch with one glass of wine but then again it was a treat for me.

I love Eataly and have been there plenty of times before but the service this time was absolutely terrible. We arrived at 6:30 and made it clear to the waiter that we needed to be out of there by 8pm, an hour and a half is plenty of time for a meal. We decided to do the restaurant week menu which comes with four courses. Unfortunately, not only did he not clear our appetizer plates, he disappeared constantly throughout the night and took so long that we did not even get to enjoy the dessert that we paid for. When we paid the bill before the dessert came out he made it seem as if it were OUR fault that the food took so long and that he kept disappearing. The tip that was given did not reflect the service at all and I am incredibly disappointed in the overall experience.

My husband and I dined at La Pizza & La Pasta - Eataly. Attractive and comfortable atmosphere. Excellent Server, Armin. He was helpful, friendly, and attentive. The food was delicious. We recommend the Cacio e Pepe and the MARGHERITA “A RUOTA DI CARRO” pizza and Insalata di Rucola.

Service was friendly and he checked with the chef on some food questions, which I appreciate. Great value during restaurant week but still amazing even without. Everything is imported from Italy and the pizza was to die for. I usually avoid gluten but I can eat wheat from Europe so this was such a treat! Do try!

Another great experience at La Pizza and La Pasta at Eataly, unfortunately there was a decrease on options and quality compared to last year's Chicago Restaurant Week. But I'm a regular an still love it!
