Enterprise recently put me in a Chrysler Pacifica. The representative who dropped the car off did not take any photos of the vehicle during the walk around. I noticed some damages to the vehicle and the rep said since those were pre existing, that I will not be charged (01-28-2025). Upon returning the vehicle, enterprise received a confirmation that the Chrysler Pacifica was returned to the crash champions where i originally retrieved it. a few days go by and I receive a voicemail saying everything with the vehicle is fine and that I have been returned my $100 deposit. A few days later I get a call from enterprise saying that there is damages on the roof of the vehicle even though it was reported fine upon pickup. Attached is an image of the transcript of the voicemail reporting that everything checked out upon pickup. No damages were reported upon pickup. They are trying to hold me liable for damages that happened after the vehicle was already in their possesion. The location of this enterprise is 318 S morgan, Chicago, Illinois, 60607. The representative who picked up the vehicle and reported no damages is named Demetrius. The person who is trying to hold me liable for damages that occured after they picked the vehicle up is named Dan. I would like to receive the images that the rep took upon pickup with the time stamp, as well as the images of the renters who had the vehicle before me.

Same issue as other customers. Insurance company sent the reservation a day ago and they said no car for same day pickup; understood let’s do the second day. Called in the morning to discuss the details and set up pickup time and asked specifically for car choice and availability. Got there right on time, being told need to wait for next return and it’s not the car discussed.

This is an absolute travesty of a business. They are “short staffed,” and by that, they have one guy working by himself here—answering phones, cleaning cars, managing reservations, etc. I have already been here 30 minutes with 2 people still ahead of me. One of the others said they has been waiting for over an hour for a car. The phone has been ringing incessantly without anyone answering it. The poor soul left to clean up this disaster mentioned to a customer, “As you can see, it can be hard to get through [calling] on days like this” which implies it’s become a pattern with the abysmal handling of this location. When I called earlier, I was told they had more reservations than cars. The management needs to shut it all down if they cannot provide services in a reasonable manner. I have to use this forsaken dung heap because that’s what my insurance company required. The entire process has been exceedingly painful. The management of this location should be appalled at the “services” rendered here.

Waited a total of 1.5 hours to get my car rental when I picked up, apparently they are “temporarily short staffed” but if you look at past reviews this seems to be an issue for a while. There was only one employee who at the time was picking up a client while we all waited in an empty shop with the phone constantly going off. Was terrified to see no employee at the counter when I dropped off my car but thankfully a Caliber Collision employee helped me. 2 stars for being connected to Calliber Collision which is convenient.

I am trying to extend my rental just can’t seem to get anyone on the phone holding for an answer about 40 min I just want to be safe can I get a call back please when possible. Just don’t want any issues is all thanks

So unorganized and unprofessional, not coming back.

Worst location ever. I rent my cars for an 8am pick up. No one is ever here on time, so unprofessional. All the cars aren’t ready yet and you wait an hour to finally get your vehicle. I had to cancel all of my appointments

15 Apr 24 just had to come on here to give a huge shout out to manager Lamitrius Watson!! He is without a doubt the true definition of excellence in customer service and deserved to be recognized for his 5-Star customer service etiquette and conflict resolution. Before he stepped in I was ready to come on here and leave a 1-star rating regarding the lack of professionalism from the female worker who showed nothing but contempt for her job and the customer she was there to help. Thank you Lamitrius for turning a negative into a POSITIVE experience, if you need to rent a car please check out this location at 318 S Morgan and ask for Lamitrius, you will walk away happy and satisfied with any dealings you have with him. He is definitely the real deal!!

I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Lamitrius, the Branch Manager at Enterprise, and I must say, his exceptional service truly stood out. Despite being short-staffed, Lamitrius managed to handle multiple customers waiting with grace and professionalism that is rare to find. I was one of the customers that had to wait a while and he made my situation go from a very unpleasant one to one of the best customer service experiences I have truly had in Chicago.
His ability to juggle numerous tasks while still maintaining a friendly and kind demeanor was truly impressive. Thank you for your help and turning a negative situation into a positive one!

I have had a headache dealing with this location. I was using my insurance to pay for my rental due to an accident. The wait to get a car and speak to someone on the phone is so ridiculous. I watched them hang up on people because they don't say they don't have the manpower. What really bothered me the most, is they kept billing me although my insurance had already paid their portion, my account was hit 4xs in one week span and their only response was the system is catching up. It was charging my account every other day, To make matters worst after I closed out and they guy said I was up to date, they continued to bill two days after I closed the bill out. Next, after trying to email and call the location; there was no answer to my calls or email. Now, I drove 30 minutes to speak to someone about the overcharge and the manager at the location made excuses for his employees for not following notes in the system. Finally, after leaving work hustling through traffic, I finally settled without my full amount refunded back to my account. I was mentally drained. My suggestion is if you have money to lose or time to waste, this is the location to go to, if not find another location. #Shortstaff# no excuse for overcharging people's accounts. I will never return back to this location !!!

I've NEVER rented a car that took 1hr and 45 minutes with a reservation via my insurance. There was ONLY 1 person working. I was over charged also. In the past you receive Clorox wipes also. People was leaving because of the wait. To still be waiting after 5pm at close time (540pm) is UNACCEPTABLE (with 3 people still waiting) Demarion was nice BUT they need more workers. So is Management saying clients time is not important... UNACCEPTABLE
