The enterprise at the Western Avenue location was more than helpful in explaining my options. When you rent a car because yours is being repaired, you never know what is going to happen. I was very fortunate, and my car was done the next day. Enterprise was quick and friendly.

I use this location frequently for my work trips, and I am always happy with my experience. The team at this location are all very friendly, professional, and competent. I come back to this location time and again because of the incredible staff.

We used to use this place because it was convenient but finally gave up on them altogether. Unorganized front office means it takes so long to pick and return. Cars are always dirty inside when you pick them up. One time they gave us a car with a nail in the tire. No one ever apologized for that (in fact, they told us we should have noticed the nail sooner), they just told us to take it to a tire repair place. We said no thanks, can we trade it in for a car without a nail in the tire, like one of the cars listed on their website? But they didn't even seem to know what cars were listed as available on their website or even that their web site existed.

If I can give this location no stars I will. Unfortunately they are not helpful, terrible customer service. I had a reservation that was made through my insurance and my vehicle that was in an accident is non drive able, they still wouldn’t let me get a rental vehicle. At the end of the conversation finally they mentioned that they didn’t have any vehicles available. They should’ve brought that up in the first place. I called another location and they were able to get me into a vehicle with no problem. I advice to please call other locations

LOST MY EXPENSIVE SUNGLASSES AND I’m 100% sure the glasses where inside the car at the moment the car was retuned.Last Week I went on a work trip to central IL with my coworker, who is the person who appears in the rental agreement. When we came back to Chicago on Friday night, she dropped me off at my place and I left my sunglasses in the rental car pocket in between the front seats. IShe returned the car to your Enterprise Chicago North Center Location, and she didn’t know the glasses were there and she didn’t check that case before dropping off the car. I didn’t realize I left my sunglasses in the car until Monday morning, and I reached out to her immediately. She called the enterprise location, and they told her they didn’t have any sunglasses in the lost and founds. By that time on the following Monday, the car was already rented out to someone else. They told her they would call her back when the car is returned but it hasn’t happened yet. They said they would do it at the end of the week. Now my questions are:When customers return the car who are the persons who clean the car and check everything?Maybe, they did clean the car, but they didn’t open the compartment where I placed the sunglasses, because if they didn’t the glasses are in there.MY SUNGLASSES ARE AN OAKLEY WITH PRESCRIPTION ON THE LENSES AND ARE INSIDE THEIR HARD LEATHER CASE WITH THE OAKLEY EMBLEMA. (If somebody found them, please return them, nobody else can wear them because it has a strong prescription and I have astigmatism and myopia)I also went to the location that Monday 10/30 at 3:30pm and I talked to a guy at the counter, and he told me the same. He knew about but I felt he didn’t give me a nice customer service attention. He just told me he would call mi coworker and he had her phone number he turned to the desk in the back to look for his water bottle and that’s it. I feel a little bit upset and desperate because those sunglasses are expensive, and I need them to drive. I AM 100% SURE THE SUNGLASSES WERE IN THE CAR AT THE MOMENT SHE RETURNED IT.I know she should check the car well before returning it and you also should check the car before rent to somebody else. I can think somebody could take them, and now the car has been driven by someone else who knows if they found it and if that someone will return them with the car. Another possibility is the new client never opened the compartment and the glasses are still there. We are enterprise clients during the outreach season, we rent with you regularly. For example, I rented a van this week and I found a pair of prescription glasses and I returned them with the car yesterday. I hope that happens to me with mine. Please Guys more careful with the clients' belongings. People can forget important stuffs . That guy who I talked to on Monday could have been more empathic and called the person who has the car or tracking the car rental history and helped me more with this, but he didn’t. He told me he would do it but I’m sure he didn’t.I have to say I sent Everything above last week and I haven’t had any response from them. But my coworker texted me this morning with the bad new My sunglasses didn’t show anymore and the person who rent the car after her didn’t see them. So, WHAT A SAD and UPSETTING STORY. I had a HUGE LOST. I know you don’t care and you are not responsible about things forgotten in cars but please check the cars before rent them to someone else and check your employees when they are doing their jobs. I will move on but I have to say it. Very disappointed about this. I’ve tending cars and finding glasses, chargers, documents and I return everything but not everyone do it.

All the other one star reviews seem legitimate after spending 20 minutes just TRYING to get in touch with someone at the store. They keep putting me on hold and then just leaving me there. All I wanted to ask was if they'd drive me 2 miles to an auto shop but looking at the other reviews it seems they would refuse to do it anyway. Should've looked here to begin with

After I got scammed at Hertz, I hoped to just rent a car for whatever price at this place. The first guy at the desk was very friendly and helpful and helped me to get a good deal on a luxury car. I am from abroad and didn’t knew at this point that I am not able to pay cash for the car. So I had to head home to get my credit card. The first guy said that their are plenty of cars left and I should just come back in a few minutes when I have my credit card. 20 minutes later I came back and explained to a new guy at the desk what happens before and that I just want to rent the car, which I chose before. The new guy just said in a extrem Impolite way that their are no cars available anymore. He was just straight lying to me, to just not have to do any work. I left the place and I will never come back. Worst service possible.

I don't know where to start about my experience with Enterprise. I rented a seven passenger van for July 12th through the 16th. The only thing that went well was the initial pick up of the vehicle from O'hare airport. I rented a seven passenger van only to find out at the toll booth by a state trooper that the plates were expired. Well needless to say I went to swap out the vehicle along the way to my destination which was a big inconvenience, only to find out that there were no cars until the next day. I was given a Toyota Corolla, the manager Chris at enterprise at Buffalo Niagara airport was very rude and didn't really want to swap out the vehicle. I was traveling with four adult men which is why I reserved a seven passenger van. Once again another inconvenience. I called the corporate office to complain about the issue and to be compensated for their error and the inconvenience. I was told my rental would be of no charge. I still have yet to see the charges reversed. I was lied to by the manager Luke at the enterprise in O'hare airport. He informed me that he would take care of it and I'm still waiting. I don't understand what the issue is, this wasn't my fault and I shouldn't have to pay for it. What if I had gotten into an accident with the registration being expired!! And today is July 28th and no one has tried to call me to fix my charges or to even apologize. This is a million dollar company with such poor customer service.

I rented a car while my vehicle is at the shop for repairs, so far. The personal was nice. I hope everything goes well when the time for the car return comes.

EDIT #2: After I had to call them AGAIN, I got through and was able to discuss a $50 credit with them. It's been almost TWO WEEKS and NO CREDIT HAS APPEARED on my account. I AM SO OVER THIS COMPANY. If I could give them ZERO STARS, I would. Absolute JOKE OF A COMPANY. Maybe a BBB complaint might make things move along. UGH.

Horrible and misleading service by the manager Olivia Kieffer. She will mislead you and then ignore you completely. The corporate Enterprise customer service (that will reply to this) is a total joke. If it is within your means rent from somewhere else. I would not trust anything Olivia Kieffer the manager tells you

This place is pushy and tries to sell their on service insurance even if you’re covered by insurance. They don’t really care about the customer. We’ve got the car from a claimed insurance the person was trying to sell and gave wrong info for the sake of selling it. Yup the inflation is crazy but businesses in Chicago aren’t making anything easy. The representative doesn’t really know how to talk. Teach your staff class of ethics first. The manager is arrogant like she owns the place. They don’t talk to you straight until you talk to them in a harsh tone. This generation is heading towards ignorance.

We rented this car an hour ago and since it's the dirtiest car we've ever rented in 30 years, had to stop to fill out the windshield liquid container as it was completely empty. All our bags and clothes are covered in dirt. Seriously.
