“Choosing a new health care provider was a big deal for our family. My daughter and I started seeing Dr.Woz(as my daughter calls him) maybe 3-4 years ago. All it took was for my hubby to take our daughter to one appointment and they roped him in ... lol My hubby always had what they referred to as white coat syndrome. The second he walked into any doctor office his BP would go up his nerves would go crazy but not anymore. Everyone from Mary at the desk to the medical assistants and nurses, are all so welcoming and attentive. Even my daughter is comfortable going to the doc, it's no longer a fight. When it's necessary to go for a check up or should she be sick and I say I made a doc appointment she'll look at me and say just Dr.Woz ... lol ... I'm confident if he was unavailable the two other providers would be just as great but my point is no kid is ever OK with going to the doc but because this office gives her such a sense of security she's never hesitant. So if you are looking for a great family friendly group to treat your family look no further!”

“Awesome experience from start to finish. Was going to walk in and when I called there was a 6pm appt available so I took it. I was able to sit in my car until I was called in and was able to go directly to the office. Jenice (sp) was wonderful and made me feel so comfortable. She also gave me a tip that I'd never been given regarding antibiotics and how to prevent yeast infections after taking them AND I DIDN'T EVEN ASK! You could tell that she genuinely cared. I am thrilled about this visit. If I ever have a need for urgent care, I'll be back and I home Jenice is stil there.”

“If I could give Dr. Gilleon 10 stars, I would. Dr. Gilleon is, without question, the most compassionate, attentive, and thorough doctor I’ve ever had. She truly listens, takes every concern seriously, and explains things in a way that’s easy to understand without ever making you feel talked down to. I always leave feeling heard, informed, and involved in my own healthcare. What sets her apart even more is the way she approaches patients as whole people, not as a number on a scale. As someone who has had difficult experiences with weight stigma in healthcare, finding a doctor who focuses on my overall health instead of my body size has been life-changing. She has never made me feel judged or shamed. Outside of situations where it was medically necessary (such as my pre-op clearance), she didn’t even require height and weight measurements, and when they were needed, the staff made sure I didn’t have to see the number if I preferred not to. That level of thoughtfulness means more than I can express. Dr. Gilleon also pays attention to the details that make care more comfortable. For example, she uses a comfort speculum for Pap smears, which made a procedure I normally dread so much easier. It’s those small, patient-centered decisions combined with her kindness that make this practice truly exceptional. The entire office deserves recognition as well. Every staff member I’ve interacted with has been incredibly kind, welcoming, and responsive. Whether it’s scheduling, answering questions, or following up, everyone treats patients with genuine care and respect. For the first time in my life, I don’t dread going to the doctor. In fact, I actually look forward to my appointments because I know I’ll be listened to and cared for. After years of feeling dismissed in healthcare, it’s something that has honestly brought me to tears. If you’re looking for a primary care doctor who practices evidence-based, patient-centered, weight-inclusive care, listens to you, respects you, and genuinely wants to help you be healthier, I cannot recommend Dr. Gilleon highly enough.”

“Never had an issue with obtaining an appointment, scheduling an appointment, being seen, getting blood work done, etc. etc. I'm typically in and out in no time and my Rxs are waiting for me. I used their Urgent Care perhaps twice, and like any other walk-in facility, I had to wait. Not sure where all this hate is coming from, but then again I'm an adult and have reasonable expectations of walk-in clinics.”

“My experience at the Advocate Medical Group Immediate Care Sykes site was pleasant and efficient. After checking in and stating the reason for my visit I was seated in the waiting area less than 10 minutes. The nurse informed me that I should have x-rays first then I would be seen by the urgent care doctor. Doctor Desarey Sims reviewed the reason for my visit which was injury to my thumb due to a fall. Dr. Sims was through and caring of my injury advised what to do including follow-up with my primary care doctor and and orthopedic doctor as well. My overall experience was very good.”
