I've been a pretty frequent regular here for many years, but I'm thinking a *lot* of the shoppers here are too.In truth it's just a such a nice place and a lovely crew, there's too much love in my heart to not give it a good rating. I'm finding the inventory changes less and less every time I visit though, and after overhearing the selection is restocked and organized on a daily basis I've only been left to assume that close to anything that hasn't been sitting out for a while is getting nabbed up pretty competitively. Even a month or two's time they'll have out an entirely different seasonal entrance table, but so much of the rest of the store still manages to look so familiar that I'll surprise myself with how much I remember so clearly. As an avid thrifter It's been a much less frequent stop in my rotation unfortunately, but I could give it all the same praise and recommendation as these ratings I see before me have. Please do visit and support it!

Cant believe Ive never been here before- its the cleanest and most organized resale shop Ive seen. They have a ton of really good brands and actually keep them at thrift prices, not like other resale shops that make you feel like youre paying dang near full price

I live in WI but every time i visit my mom who lives in chicago i come to this store. The ladies who work there always greet me when i walk in and are very nice. The store has a wide selection of everything and what i really love is they have plus size clothes which is rare in thrift stores. The prices are great too! Theres a reason why i keep coming back again and again everytime I'm in town.

Some their key goals are sustainability, affordability and to help families in need. Family Tree Resale does is wholeheartedly with the intend to give back to the community every day whether its bringing a smile to an individual or a family. There voucher program is one of many ways to give back to the community.A woman entrepreneur that established this business and over years grew organically keeping in mind the savings and treasures that it loves to share. It employees individuals with the same passion to benefit the community. I want to take a moment to appreciation Family Tree Resale for the many joys it brought to my family and everyone. I was there for the opening of this little gem, when they were further down on Lincoln. I was in the area and couldn't wait to see the bigger store. I walked in and said hello to the young man behind the counter.. to my surprise he was soooo rude turned his back to me. So I said hello again but no response. I felt terrible that this place I held so close to my heart, the lovely ladies that were there on opening day were no longer there. Now it's just a very cold a dry place

This place is a hidden gem. They not only carry clothes and shoes, but also furniture (minor & major), kids toys, TONS of really nice glassware, books, electronics, art, office & school supplies, lighting and a great jewelry selection. Prices are a little higher but its bc they're resale, not thrift. Donations are accepted and for larger loads or items they will even come pick up (free i believe) if you call ahead to schedule. And what i really love is the voucher program the owner set up to benefit schools and families in need. You can choose which organization you'd like to donate to which was also so thoughtful as it can help you help a cause you're passionate about. I always choose the hospital which is close to my heart. They also offer a local discount and various sales throughout the week. Lastly the staff. I've just never met a nicer group of people. I have nothing negative to say abt it. Be sure to check it out!

Great place to shop but don't bother with donations. Today, the alley was partially blocked (donations are only allowed one day per month and only in the alley) so i brought clothes on hangers to the front door, hobbling in with my cane. The lady took them and when i said i had two bags in the car she told me how to cut through a parking lot to get there. Did that. No help fr tbe two guys, tbey were busy visiting with eack other. Drop the stuff by the door. Hobbled back to my car to find my abilty to exist the alley was blocked by other cars trying to get around rhe oranve xones and guy taking down trees. Enough is enough!
