Their paint is impossible to spray. Tried different settings and spits and clogs the gun even after thinning. Brushing took 3 coats to get even cover. Overpriced and difficult to work with.

So about a year ago, my husband and I went to get paint for a bathroom reno and had a really great experience. The staff member who was working that day was very friendly and helpful. We went back recently hoping to get some help in selecting colors for a bedroom update, and the worker that was there this time was really rude. He audibly sighed when we rang the bell to be let in and then didn't talk to us or offer to help at all the entire time we were in the showroom. It was just really obvious he wanted us to leave which was a bummer because we have spent a lot at F&B before and like the product. But yeah, if you go and the worker is a redheaded guy with a full beard, just know he's kind of mean lol

What a great resource. Incredibly professional, friendly and helpful. Despite not being what I would imagine is their “normal” clientele there was no weird vibe. Best of all, the paint is a DREAM.

Great customer service. The colors are so beautiful and intense. You won't find colors like this with such richness to them. The designers are very knowledgeable with color compatibility. It's worth to check out Farrow and Ball in Costa Mesa.

Product is great. Return policy of the unused paint the associate recommended is absurd. 25% restocking fee and only 14 day window. Buy less than you think you need. $100+ Can of paint just sitting in my closet due to their overselling.

So disappointing. I love their colors, but I had truly one of the worst customer experiences of my life with Megan the store manager here. She was inappropriate, haughty, nasty and rude. Initially, I didn't mind the F&B premium, but after being treated with such disdain, I decided it wasn't worth it. Ended up having the F&B colors copied by our local Sherwin Williams. Project turned out beautifully. Thank you, Sherwin Williams!

This was the first experience at Farrow & Ball for my girlfriend and I, and Charles was great at honing in our varied ideas into something....cohesive and tangible within the context of our new apartment. He has a wealth of knowledge about how paint will play with light and other aspects of the room (flooring, furniture and decor). I'm sure this high-end store gets a fair share of demanding, entitled clientele (which my girlfriend and I are NOT) but Charles was great at explaining everything and giving us ideas and options. Despite the high price of the product, I will return for his help again for future paint projects.

The pass scanners don't always work and the customer service takes a long time to respond when waiting at the gate, causing long lines.

Charles was such a great help selecting colors for our family room and fireplace! We showed him a photo and he advised us on the choice of colors. He considered what would complement our furniture. We so appreciate his help.

This store has absolutely wonderful customer service. I've been working with the company and I live out of state. Megan is absolutely the best customer service representative I have worked with and she has very sharp taste. I look forward to working with them more in the future.

Unlike the mopey charlatans at the hardware counter who hum a few bars to convince you of their knowledge of color choice (and the talent that requires) - the folks here have a convincing but quiet confidence about their abilities. Its collaborative and encouraging, but also there is a real skill and enthusiasm. I can tell there is passion here for design, color, and really the artistic element involved. Needless to say; the Farrow and Ball Showroom in Chicago is fantastic. The service is very attentive, pleasant, and warm. Everyone I've worked with here including Charles and Thomas have been great. A special mention to Valerie, who really epitomizes the tip of the spear with her whole demeanor. Bar none SUPER on point in every way. I am very impressed. The prompt call backs, remembering the sound of my voice on the phone - makes it feel more client-like and less transactional. A definite rhythm and flow that creates trust and brings me back for more of what is offered. Absolutely! Lastly, Farrow and Ball (while priced at a premium) is flat out the best paint I've seen and worked with. It's a real joy to experience and experiment with the colors and pigments offered in their lineup. Personally, I had struggled to pinpoint my personal intersection of both color and quality in a venn diagram type of fashion until Farrow and Ball. Wasting my time experimenting with Benjamin Moore's new premium century line (too flat and lacks depth), Aura Spectrum, and their traditional offerings. Along with the customary contractor paints like Glidden and Behr which comparatively are cheap, sticky, less vibrant and infused with cheap plastic fillers. Seeing the finished product in person makes an enormous impact. Overall I can't recommend this showroom and product enough. Outstanding!
