Never use fedex if a signature is required. I got a notification that fedex "attempted" to deliver my package but my business (house) was closed. When I called, a second attempt was supposed to be made that wasn't. Another call and a promise for a follow up that also didn't happen. The post office is more reliable

Ordered a package (hair products), and driver attempted delivery while I was away from my home. When I came back, I looked up the tracking info from the note on the door which stated I could come in to the 875 West Division location after 2:30pm. I went around 4:00pm, and brought extra paper documentation with as my ID does not match my current address.The man at the counter would not let me pick up the package all because my package was under the name “Sam” (that’s what I go by, full name is Samantha) and he was expecting it to be a guy, even though I provided mail and extra documentation and last name was obviously the same. He did not offer any explanation. I asked what was wrong and he kept saying it’s a guy’s name and it’s different… I asked him what to do next, since he was walking away from me without helping me understand the situation. He told me to call the company I ordered from, have them change my name to Samantha for the order, have them contact FedEx, and then it might work out. Absolutely ridiculous. I offered to show him the email confirmation on my phone to prove that I had ordered it, but he refused and said they do not look at people’s phones. Horrible customer service. Strange to assume Sam is “only a guy’s name”.

We had an overnight document that was guaranteed to deliver by noon or your moneyback. At 11:45 am, I got a notification that they attempted delivery and no one was home. Well, that was simply not true. Someone was at the delivery address at that time. They never attempted delivery and there was no door tag to prove that they did. I also saw a similar review with similar situation as mine from a month ago. It seems to be common practice when they’re running late. Save your money and don’t do overnight shipping with guaranteed delivery to Chicago. Anyways, I had to go to the location to pick it up which was easy and seamless.

Apparently this FedEx location can not Print their own labels. You have to go to 1711 W division for that. Not customer friendly at all.So make sure you have a printed label if you’re trying to drop off here

I have so much hate for FedEx like pure hate best way I could put it don’t every ship with this company they are horrible,I could probably deliver a package on a horse faster then they could ever. customer service is so bad everything is automated and calling them makes everything even more complicated I will for now on be using pigeons,AND UPS for shipments because it’s more reliable way to receive my items. How can a package be in your area for days and still unable to pick up, I literally have to spoon feed FedEx I order to get information because like toddlers they need the crust cut off of their sandwiches

Very unprofessional and disrespectful. This location employees and manager are a liar. I have a package that supposed to be delivered first between 9:40am and 1pm and nobody show up to deliver the package. Few minute later I received an update that the package will be delivered between 2pm and 6pm still nothing is delivered and I receive an update that it will be delivered at 8pm. I stay in front of my from 7:30pm to 8:10pm and no Fedex car show up on my street. At 8:06pm I receive an update that the carrier try to delivered the package and nobody was there to receive the package. It is a pure lie because I was waiting outside when I receive that update and in addition no door tag was left. I called many time the customer service to request the driver to deliver my package because I am traveling and the customer service agent told me the package will be delivered between 9:34pm and before 12am. At this time nobody show up to delivered my package. It is annoying and very unprofessional. They did not show and did not even leave a door tag but updated online the driver shows up and nobody was there. I have to miss my flight because of that package but I will definitely sue them for compensation. Please don’t use Fedex to ship a package because they will disappoint you. This is the 2nd time I am experiencing this. But at this time I will take action against the company.

This place ought to rethink about its policy. My friend sent me a package with a different name and it’s held and I have to wait for redelivery. The manager is just as stubborn and blindly following the policy.

The phone number listed doesn't connect to this location. The latest express drop off time is not listed and customers are unable to get this info. It shouldn't be that difficult to list here. FedEx used to be an amazing company. No longer the case.

Fedex came twice, rang the buzzer at the entrance downstairs which I answered within 3 seconds both times, but wouldn’t lift their noble fingers to open the door. Instead would much rather have me travel to this center and pick it up. Useless sneaky weasel shipping service that is a curse to anyone who dares to use it.

I have had bad experiences with Fed Ex but this location satisfied me. I was not available to sign for a package and couldn't be available when they were going to re-deliver. The manager said they could try again the next day when I would be and the representative named Jasmine assured me that she would remember to have them put my package on the truck. I received it early and with ease. Great customer service and they cared.

I thought my experience was unique but based on these other reviews, Im not the only one.To start of, the bigger security guy was super cool and helpful. More helpful than the actual guy at front desk. Props to him.I come to pick up a package (I was pretty friendly and cool the whole time). Older bald dude with bummy attitude looks up the tracking number, gets my ID, goes to the back, comes back like 10 min later with a piece of paper, goes back a 2nd time, comes back 5-10 min later and while holding my package mumbles he can’t give me the package because I wasn’t born 2 months earlier. For some reason this location or FedEx as a whole decided you need to be exactly 21+ to pick up something YOU ordered. Keep in mind this was a pair of shoes. Not some tequila and cigarettes. Like yes bro, my body chemistry will change a lot in these next couple months. Enough to sign for a package. I understand they want to check ID to make sure you’re not someone trying to steal a package. But logically I feel if you match up the person’s full name on their ID and the name on the order, that would be good enough.Anyway, the guy said “I’ll put it on the truck to maybe bring it Monday. You could have it then.” And walked off without a smile, goodbye, or anything. Like I understand people have bad days but this guy has been having a bad decade or something. All these reviews mention similar experiences. But I’d have a bummy attitude too if I had to enforce some of the ridiculous rules this location has.FedEx does however have awesome delivery times though, I’ll give em that. I do e-commerce, process several hundred orders a year, and was considering switching to this company from USPS even though it’s more expensive. No.
