I usually have great experiences with FedEx Kinko’s, but my recent interaction at the 35th Street location was incredibly disappointing—especially considering the circumstances.
I contacted this location to get a quote and proof for an obituary order for a young man whose funeral is scheduled for the next day. I spoke with Antonio, who asked when the service was (understandable), then told me to email the file. I followed up asking for a breakdown of pricing—prints, folds, poster sizes, and any extras like videos or flash drives—so the family could decide what was affordable. Instead, I received a single lump sum with no transparency.
When I called back for clarification, Antonio was not only dismissive but borderline aggressive. He insisted I hadn’t said “or” when requesting quotes for multiple options and chose to speak to me rudely and defensively, rather than with any empathy or understanding. He also completely left out the video service and flash drive upsell, which could have been helpful both for us and for his store’s revenue.
We are already mourning a loss. A little kindness and professionalism could’ve gone a long way. This is not the type of customer service I’ve come to expect from FedEx Kinko’s, and definitely not the care you hope to receive when dealing with something as sensitive as funeral arrangements. We’ve decided to go with a different company that values both product and experience.
I hope management addresses this. Grieving families deserve better.

Came at 1pm on a Friday. Was relatively busy so I waited a moment. Was returning equipment for a former employer unboxed. Gail was extremely helpful and courteous. She made every thing super simple and quick. I don’t know why there are so many negative reviews…this was nothing but a positive and fast experience. I’m grateful. Thanks Gail & staff.

I just had the best experience at this location. The agent helped me pick out the correct packaging that I needed. I was able to email my prepaid labels to him, and that was it. I was in and out in 5 minutes. I just moved in the neighborhood and I'm so happy this was a seamless experience!

Sign posted on door indicating closed for 30 minutes at 2pm on a Saturday. I waited for more than 30 minutes just to drop off a package. You could see customer service inside attending to someone the whole time.

Despite all the bad reviews, I've shipped from here a bunch for my business. I think the staff is very professional, quick and courteous! Highly recommend. I prefer this location to the UPS on Halsted.
