I want to love this gym but I don't understand what's been going on recently. I joined years ago, and this was always my favorite location because it was clean, not super crowded, and they had the steam rooms and hot tubs in the locker rooms so I didn't have to worry about remembering to bring a bathing suit or taking home a wet one...like you do with co-ed facilities; however, after COVID things have really gone down hill. 1. The place isn't open on Sundays, and has limited hours on Saturdays. 2. The pool is rented out to a swim team multiple times a week during prime after-work hours, limiting member access. 3. The locker room staff is pushy and clearly wants to leave ASAP. They start opening all the lockers hours before closing. I've also seen them ask people if they're done with towels that are actively being used. The kicker for me, and I think I will ultimately cancel my membership because of this...I go in the other day and they've put up signs in the locker room telling people they need to stay clothed in the locker rooms for "other members' comfort", including wearing swimsuits in the hot tubs and steam rooms. These are not co-ed facilities mind you...they are single sex IN THE MEN'S LOCKER ROOM. So now I have to bring a swim suit to the gym just so I can go in the steam room after a workout? Also, because of this rule, people are going to start going into the steam rooms wearing their workout gear, which is unsanitary and smells bad.

I use to work for this company and I loved it. This is my favorite Gym ever because it's got everything your looking for. This is a quieter location due to it not being in a residential area. Pools, hot tubs in locker and steam rooms. 10/10 recommend

The men’s steam room smells like a sweaty foot every time I work out here. The floors are also disgusting. Bringing the issue up to employees has not resulted in improvement, but the price has gone up to $150 monthly. None of the other ffc locations are like this. The weekend hours are also terrible. I live nearby and am not a loop office worker.

Poor management. They charge your credit card when they are not supposed to. LIFETIME FITNESS is the way to go. Don't pay for this shit hole. Wait till they go bankrupt.

The gym is very clean. It is never too busy. The staff is really nice. The only thing I wish they had is a nordic bench and a tibialis raise machine.

I recently visited this location and could not have asked for a better more convenient location to belong too. This gym has everything I need from an Olympic weightlifting platform, kettlebells, and everything cross training related. The pool is pristine and the locker rooms exuberate everything that I enjoy about coming to downtown Chicago. I like how the café area has a lot of space and how you can enter this facility from two different entrances depending on where you're coming from in the loop. Also, something equally important and hard to find with Chicago fitness clubs, is a clean gym. This facility is super clean and has that upscale feel that I like.

I recently joined FFC West Loop club but just found it to not be a great fit due to the lay out… I really did not want to cancel so I decided to head to FFC Union Station. I was greeted by Anna and Louann who were so unbelievably kind. The gym is absolutely beautiful, clean, and very strategically spaced out. I’ve been to several gyms in Chicago - I enjoyed my workout at FFC Union Station the most. The price really does reflect the attentiveness, care and dedication the entire staff has. From front desk to the people who do such a great job cleaning. They were extremely helpful and asked no questions about switching over my account. Really looking forward to coming back ♡ (also such great views of the loop)

New management (Luann) since Covid is awful. Multiple price increases over a time when they were open less often, never figured out the parking they had promised and rented out the gym during prime times so members couldn't use it. Luann also screwed me out of $100s of 3 time. Unfroze my account without asking me / charged me for the wrong account package ($15 more per month) which become clear the minute I asked a few of the managers that worked there / took $450s of my stuff and donated it without giving me even a day to come in a claim all because Luann as continued to put members last (happy to proved many others to corroborate this from other situations as well)

I would like to give Jasmine a shout out for being so attentive, friendly, and professional. It's easy to tell that she really cares about this gym and genuinely wants people to feel welcome and comfortable. When I notified her of an issue with the hot tub, she immediately sprung into action and made sure it was resolved and communicated updates with me, which I so appreciated.

By far, the Union Station location is my favorite. It is spacious--even when it's crowded, I am able to get my workout in without eating too long for a bench or a machine. The locker room is also cavernous. There's room to spread out unlike at other gyms of which I've been a member. The only downsides are the amenities. I got too used to Keihl products in the showers ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This use to be my favorite gym. My credit card got lost and they kept charging it , knowing it was declining, they said they would send my account to collections. I wouldn't recommend this gym to my enemies. Been a customer for years , I guess business must not be doing good. So they are going with the bulling customers to try to keep them. Making the switch to Lifetime Fitness.

There's an old saying, "you get what you pay for." Well sometimes that's true...and sometimes it's not. Here its the former. In my combined 3 1/2 years there I have never had anyone at any level be anything except friendly. From the people at the reception desk, the trainers, locker room managers and management. For example, I have found many trainers practically snarl at you at other clubs. Here trainers are all friendly and will occasionally volunteer technique tips if you are doing an exercise wrong. I've never seen that at another club. By the way, if you can afford it training sessions are a real treat.I have been to around five FFC facilities. I easily consider this one the best. They are all spotless. Also, not only do the stuff put the weights on the racks, but most of the time the members are considerate in doing so. Not only are they on the rack...they actually or in the coresponding designated location.By the way, when I stopped my membership I had no issues.Next, some the the other Loop fitness clubs you wonder if you will walk out of the locker room alive or if your iphone or wallet will be in locker when you come back. That is not the case here. Finally I have found the members to be to a great degree polite and considerate. No overly loud or using curse laded language.

This is an excellent gym, very well equipped & offers a clean and bright space for its members and guests. I was traveling through Chicago today and I called the Union Station location to ask about a guest pass. They were very accommodating and allowed me to keep my suitcase in the office while I worked out. The steam room and locker rooms have everything you need: I was able to shower and get ready for my evening flight after the workout. Thank you for your hospitality!
