I am very disappointed with the banking experience at 5/3 recently. No one seems to know much about protocol, and the customer service is non existent. As a customer for more than a decade, 5/3 decided to keep a check that I deposited in the ATM because the name didn’t match, and instead of giving me a courtesy call and requesting I come to the bank to show ID, they sent my check off to central headquarters to be copied and reissued WITHIN 30 DAYS! This is very inconvenient and they can’t even track the check for me. I am very disappointed and will likely close my multiple accounts with them after this.

The staff here is great! Yet I HATE that I have to go through a metal detector like I’m in jail just to get in the damn door!! No other 5/3branch I have ever been in has this!! Apparently only s outside locations! Utterly ridiculous!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE ON JANUARY 8, 2024. The teller was awful in her Spirit. It's enough she didn't seem happy to assist me or had any professional skills but to have the EVIL AUDACITY TO MAKE ME WAIT WHILE SHE COUNT CHECKS INTENTIONALLY TO LET ME STAND THERE JUST SO I COULD GET UPSET IS CONSIDERED HORRIBLE TRAINING FROM HOME AND IN FIFTH THIRD TRAINING CLASS. I have never dealt with any Customer Service Teller like her and don't plan to EVER AGAIN AT FIFTH THIRD.MY ADVICE....BE VERY CAREFULLY WITH WHO YOU HIRE. I had the pleasure of speaking with the wonderful branch Manager who took my complaint seriously and apologize and then assisted me with my account professionally.Thank you!

I wish we could give them negative stars. A merchant charged me $756 versus $75 for a manicure/pedicure. They gave me a provisional credit but took it back because I couldn't produce the receipt. I'll be honest, because the app notify me of all transactions I don't keep receipts BUT you can clearly see they over charged me via my statement. This happened back in August. I still do not have my money and they refuse to contact the merchant to verify he made a mistake. It is my mission to tell everyone I know that 5th third is THE worse bank on the planet! Side note this is not a slight against the branch. Disputes have to be negotiated via the customer service number/dispute team.

very lazy and some of the tellers be having the nastiest attitude and don’t be wanting to help out the customers and making them wait on they money as they deserve it , there is a specific teller big black lady with glasses and look like a men or want to be one i don’t know but she the one always put people deposit on hold when i was just there last week and it was another teller and my stuff came through the same day so i know that’s her doing that because she got control she very unprofessional, i don’t understand how she’s working for a company like this and playing with people money. that’s not cool at all you never know what a person got going on.

The customer service here horrible and I mean horrible that may be a understatement today I said in a drive-through just sitting waiting for service as one cashier standing behind the other cashier watching her and after five minutes of waiting another car pulls up and miraculously one of the ladies turns around and go straight to the speaker for the person who just pulled up while she had to look right by me or threw me either way she seen me sitting there why would you go straight to him when I’m already at the window and as I’m telling her screaming out yo I’m standing here you don’t see me she just talks over me as you turn the speaker on how can I help you how can I help you how can I help you they are known for horrible customer service and fifth third won’t even address the issue I know they see these messages these bad reviews and it continues to be like this because they don’t care because we continue to give them my business but this will be my last time I’m going to a credit union and anybody else reading this should to.

I opened an account at this location in 2019 and had a great experience. I returned March of 2021 to help my 8 year old open her first bank account and the team here really outdid themselves. From the time I scheduled an appointment with the help of the manager Elizabeth L, to the moment we sat down with the banker Mary W, I felt truly listened to, guided and welcomed. My daughter had the absolute best experience and is so proud to have a bank account. They even had a birthday treat ready for her. They definitely redefined the meaning of customer service. Thank you so much!

Worst experience ever. Never been 2 a bank with metal detectors inside and poor customer service. If I could give this branch a negative star, I would! If you can avoid going 2 this branch please do so. I went into Pilsen branch and was treated way way better. Very disappointed in my own black people

Some black woman keeps providing inaccurate information to customers causing me to continually have to contact the Vice President of my branch in order to ensure he’s receiving correct information.The next time I’m a list her name and home addressKeep trying to be an Uncle Tom
