Fireside Bowl is a unique and welcoming bowling alley in Chicago that offers much more than just bowling. It has a cozy, old-school feel with graffiti on the walls, stickers on the lanes, and a casual, comfortable vibe suitable for families, groups, and locals alike. The staff is friendly and accommodating, often helping with large groups or last-minute plans, making visitors feel at home. Though there can be occasional issues with the old scoring machines and pin resets, these do not detract from the overall enjoyable experience. The alley is popular for its relaxed atmosphere and friendly service, making it a great place for family fun, friends, or out-of-town visitors. Beyond bowling, Fireside Bowl is also a legendary venue for punk rock shows, hosting local and touring bands with a gritty and authentic energy. Whether for a fun night of bowling or live music, Fireside Bowl remains an iconic spot in the city, appreciated for its character and welcoming spirit.
We had a blast rolling on the vintage lanes (they use an old-school 80s automated scoring system that’s part of the charm). No over-the-top gimmicks, just good old-fashioned fun with friends. The place has history, character, and a welcoming crowd. Perfect for a casual night out.

You wouldn't expect it, but this is my favorite bar in Logan Square. Perfect atmosphere, lots of regulars, chill service. Love you bad Fireside.

Everything about the bowling experience is retro but even with some of its quirks, it's a great time. Highly recommend.
