We have been with this credit union for almost 2 years now. It has been a rocky transition from our long time cu out of state - but not so challenging that it was a no-go for us. We had received international wire transfers previously since being with FFCU - however since the buy out and switch to Encourage, we are no longer able to get international wire transfers. The sender attempted 4 times and the wire was returned each time. We confirmed with FFCU / Encourage multiple times the updated details, and no success. Our sender can not attempt again to get the funds transferred. Big disappointment. I wish this credit union used Zelle. And finally, I wish it had investment services - but this was an after thought. In general, most people at the branches are very helpful if you can reach them - but overall this last experience with the wire is an inconvenience that no one has been accountable for.

Great customer service from this bank! I have worked with both Stephanie and Lori and they have been a huge help working with me on my mortgage, heloc and helping me to open a business account!

This place is wonderful. I have been a customer for 3 years. Never had an issue needed loans. Increasing loans not a problem This is the only place I was able to find a line of credit. Thank you, Irene, you're the best.

This front desk worker has the most unknowledgeable customer services. She's very rude. I would not recommend putting your money this place. This worker acts horribly toward me as a customer of 2 years. I will never walk in there again.

Very hard to get access to your funds , send money etc. Not compatible with zelle, venmo, cash app, chime etc. Just makes banking very inaccessible. And nobody answers the phone. It shouldn’t be this hard to bank. Great staff , but major improvements are needed . ASAP.

Impossible to get a hold of and when you finally do, this place has the most unknowledgeable customer service staff. I would not recommend putting your money in a place you cannot retrieve it from.

I was stuck between a rock and a hard place especially after the flooding in north Chicago. I applied for a loan with James who was outstanding. I was able to apply and get approved quickly. Sonya was instrumental in getting the final details set for me. She was patient and so caring. She gave me excellent service. I highly recommend First Financial Credit Union. They make everything easy.

FFCU has been so very helpful to me whenever I come in for anything. They have great customer service here. Sonya and Irene went above and beyond to assist me with help getting financed for an auto loan. Thank you again FFCU for having such a helpful staff. Highly recommend this credit union.

I have been a member with them for many years already.Along with my family that has been a member with then having 3 car loans and credit with them.I also had a car loan with them and a personal loan that I was paid before the maturity time.I came back as a customer asking for a P Loan and they were asking me for paystubs when I'm a business owner and I don't get pay with pay stubs. Saying that I gave them proof of my income showing all my bank account with positive balances and good money there but that wasn't sufficient for them because I didn't have a pay stub.SO they didn't get back to me to help and they just stop giving me communication about it which I felt not so important for them.So I'm demonstrating that EVER since they change the staffing they are careless with the "members" they don't care about giving satisfaction for any of us.We miss Nancy & ArianaThanks Lori Maloney for ignoring the customer needs.As a Branch Manager you need to work on customer service and sources to help the customer with better understanding.
